  1. Rich if u see him pick up the Roadster parts for my friend Erik's car. I will pay you for them on the way home from the Good Guys car show on Saturday evening. They should not cost much and Les knows what they are.
  2. There is a guy in Escondido CA who has rebuilt units. He is expensive as hell. Not sure how to get ahold of the guy. Maybe someone here knows about him?
  3. Les at Classic Datsun has fiberglass hoods, just FYI. Try the dealer with the part number.
  4. Its all about the isolater, I used a 280 isolator on my 73 when I changed the spring to even out the car. Factory rates are different but aftermaket are all the same except for the isolater.
  5. I think they use it for the GT250 kit.
  6. I am tearing down a 78Z this week. It was a whole running car with front end damage that was too expensive to fix. I had the car since 94 so I know everything about it. The car is going to be rebodied as a GT250 now. So all the parts are available. It has a brand new lockset with one key for all locks and ignition, euro tailights, real nice center console, nice fractory original style carpet kit, F54 block with N47 head, new fuel injectors, nice door panels with a custom door speaker panel. Only bad parts are the hood and right fender. The car has MSA side skirts and front valance. I even have nice hood vents including brand new ones. So in the end I got lots of parts for a 78 in San Diego.
  7. Change the Cat and I bet you pass. Everytime one of my cars fail, I change the cat and then the car passes.
  8. Not happy to see them ruin two cars like that. From what I have seen of the show is just a bickering session. I like shows were they just build cars, that is it...not fighting, no life stories...just cars. There is an old British show on HD Theater called Wheeler Dealers, they find classic cars (in England), fix it up and resell it. It is an old show but they way it should be done. I would love to see an new American version of it.
  9. Looks like a lot of fun....wish I knew about it sooner. Next time.
  10. Ok, maybe not a clone...it has been months since I've seen under the car covers. I will get a look at again next week.
  11. I know where there is a blue Kenmeri in San Diego. It sits outside double car covered next to my friend's shop. It most likely is a clone. It has not moved in years.
  12. My garage contains, a pristine an 03 G35 Sport coupe MT5 with less than 35,000 on the clock, an 06 Harley Sportster low 1200, many NLA Datsun parts for both the Z and Roadster, two sets of Watanabe wheels, a few beerlights, and few Miata parts. Need to make room to pull the 67 Roadster in.
  13. ST springs used to be blue. I have two boxes of them in my garage like that.
  14. I got some of the parts you need to get her back to where she was before those douche bads defiled her.
  15. Ok piston check complete: I got what you want it is actually part number 12010-P7917 it is 81-83 NT 1MM OS. It is piston with pin. I also have 12010-P9012 and 12010-P8615. The rings are part 12033-P8370 or 12036-P8610.
  16. I will be on the look out here in the south bay/Imperial Beach area.
  17. Let me check my stock I think I have that very set in my garage. I will check in a few minutes and get back to you. The Nissan parts come with just the piston, I do also have ring sets. I got all the stroker parts.
  18. I got Nissan pistons new in the box. I got several part numbers so please give the Nissan part number you want, I might be able to help you out.
  19. Nice neighbors you got.
  20. Great pick Reno. Looking forward to pictures too. I gave my 78 to my neighbor several years ago.
  21. I know about Les, know him well. A great source. And a great person too.
  22. Looks awesome, thanks for the link Mike.
  23. Maybe woth about $20, depends if there are neddles and the condition of the parts.
  24. The SS kit is awesome, got one for the Z and another for the 67 Roadster.
  25. I saw Carinni pick up a 57 VW beatle in LA for like $16K and drive it up to Pebble Beach and sell it at Christy's Auction for $25K or whatever his price was. A beatle? Nothing sold cheaper or more of than beatles, so I don't think Wayne is totally correct on this issue. As many east coasters do; they favor German cars to Japanese cars anyway. Wayne is looking out his east coast basis. I think if a qaulity car shows up at auction it will sell for more than $25K. Men grew up admiring and love this car and I think those that can afford it would pay a good price to own a condition 1 or 2 example. That's it, I said my piece.....we are the ones that are responsible for getting the word out and talking up the value of our cars not trying to find reasons to deflate the values. Last words: I am talking about condition 1or 2 cars or a fine resto-mod, not some of the junk I see at Cars and Coffee or Motorsport.
