Today at the salvage yard i found 2 Original Fairlady Z Carb repair kits.

How common are these?

Are they worth anything?

Cool! How the hell did you find these? I've found lots of parts for my Z & 7s but never like this. Mostly the unique find of mine was a back seat filled top to bottom w/ porn magazines. Gotta love a junk yard.

Maybe woth about $20, depends if there are neddles and the condition of the parts.

Was it right hand drive? If so it was likely a non USA Fairlady S30 and technically not a 240Z

Nope it was left hand drive. I think it might have been a hodgepodge of different year Datsun interiors.

Leonard is right. Just replace everything, and that car can be saved.

It is hard to tell from the photos, but it looks like a 69-very early 71 Series1. It has the rear hatch vents and the steering wheel without holes. Did you happen to get the Vin and engine block numbers?

Shouldn't be too hard to remove the glass!!!

I think the bits you found are not worth a great deal, but are of

interest all the same.
