I'm going to do as much as I can while my engine is out, like steering rack bushings, tranny, head, clean compartment. It's just easier, more money but less of a pain in the arse...........

I try to keep off this subject so I can keep myself going, like I'm rebuilding my engine just bought a rebuild kit, and this guy wants to sell me forged pistons for a good price. What do u do??? I am going with the forged pistons, more money but ooooooooooooooo they'll be great...

That's funny cause my friend bought a 78' a week ago and it still had the fan shroud and splash pan.

So the best thing would be take it to a radiator shop? Because I called all these other machine shops and they dont hot tank gas tanks only heads and blocks etc.

ISnt it really hard to turn that little steering wheel with out power steering? I donno about you guys but I bought a like new no cracks or anything walnut sterring wheel for $50.00, I think it was out of a 70' correct me if I'm wrong....

Sbake01 I bought a brand new pair of 6, and they worked on my car, I bought them off ebay a long time ago for I think $30.00 plus shipping. I think I still have the heat shrink.
