Just thought I'd introduce myself since there's a forum specifically for this. I've been active on ZDriver for a while now and post every now and then on HybridZ. I've been a member here since March, but just recently actually made a couple posts. Proud ex-owner of a 280zx Turbo and the happy new father of a 74 260Z.

It's a '74. The previous owner is faxing me a copy of the title either tomorrow or the next day and I take delivery in a couple of weeks. I dont have the VIN on me til then but I'll post it up when I get it. I'm already gathering up some obvious parts I'll be needing though. I miss my turbo but this one should be fun with less nagging from the wife since she's more a fan of the S30's and cant stand the ZX But this will be my first S30 (owned a couple 280zx's).

Judging by the turnsignals it's definitely an early version.

Some cars lose their character when they are painted black; fortunately for us the Z car is not one of them-yours looks as sharp as a razor (although a little weird w/o the front bumper).

yeah she's got some work ahead of her. The passenger side of the car isn't quite as nice as the drivers side. Some small dents, surface rust, and a missing headlight bucket. And obviously the missing bumpers. But the bulk of it is there and no apparent major rust (we'll see how accurate that statement is when I start tearing into her though ).

I take delivery on the 7th. I cant wait. I've owned a couple 280zx's but never an S30.
