  1. ^^hahaha... that's great.....
  2. ^^z-whizz ain't no joke. it's worth the extra few bucks to me
  3. no kidd'n, huh!! and also check to make sure that everything is plugged in to the right plugs.... BEFORE you spend $200+ on diagnostics...
  4. ok... i took my car to an auto electrical shop and they must not have known what they were doing. the charged me $128 for 2 hours of diagnosis and told me it was my combo switch, so i replaced that. still nothing. so i called up z-whizz (kudos!!) and they did electrical, took it there and had them run a diagnostic for $90 and they said that a plug was plugged into the wrong receptor! fixed! how it got plugged in there i guess i will never know.... so moral of the story is: go to z-whizz first.
  5. maybe your T/S switch?? disassemble it and clean the connectors (but make sure you don't lose any pieces...) also check to see if the little tab inside is bent properly $.02
  6. looks pretty damn cool to me. i'd rock it
  7. heh.... i guess no tires wouldn't stop them in quite a literal way, eh vicky?
  8. oh, and ya gotta have the "drift look" with the 2 different rims....
  9. amazingly enough, it doesn't look THAT bad.... but those poor taillights..
  10. i knew about these for a while, just didn't know how popular they are. i dunno, call me hopeless. i don't like v8s
  11. this guy was telling me all about the monster miatas (with ford 5.0 motors) and i was like "you're kidding me, right?" but anyway, i know that it makes the WR 53/47 or something like that, but i just think that putting a v-8 in a japanese sports car is just making it into a muscle car. anyway, so what do you think?
  12. i think thast with all of the accessories it's like 135 at the crank and around 121 at the wheels...... i THINK mind you
  13. ^^exactly. if it was me, i would wait and save up some $$ and get one that has no rust. i'm speaking from personal experience. i got my Z for cheap, but after careful inspection it is going to take a LOT of work
  14. toyota 2000gt all the way. that and a few scattered skylines, maybe a couple old ferraris... but mostly 2000gt.
  15. aww.. no hot linking...
  16. well, since you spent so much on your block, i would recommend just sticking with those pistons. you probably wouldn't want a very aggressive cam in that case..
  17. hey guys, just thought i'd let you know about this deal at home depot right now. it's a husky 32 gallon air compressor (electric) and it comes with a bunch of air tools (impact driver, spray can, quick ratchet) i think i got those right... anyway, a bunch of stuff for $299.... good deal if ya ask me!
  18. hahaha... .... iron oxide....
  19. exactly. porsche, bmw, and corvette owners are all poopoo kaka heads. at least when it comes to the big D
  20. rebuild your carbs? actually, check your A/F mixture and check your balance. mine was doing that for the longest time and then i got ztherapy's videos and rebuilt my carbs. running smooth since then.
  21. haha... i guess we did go off on little tangents. i wasn't in the "scene" back then so i have no idea
  22. i hope not! damn scharzeneggar (sp). that's why i didn't vote for him (among other things). if this happens then i am moving to AZ
  23. very nice car and it's in my town! too bad i don't have $6000 to spend on another Z. i know what you mean about the color combo growing on you. i didn't like it at first, but the more you look, the more you like!
  24. and make sure you oil it with k&n oil because a lighter oil(engine oil, cooking oil ) won't work as well and could damage the filters..
