  3. i believe i have seen a g-nose one piece...... here's some info i found: http://www.zparts.com/showcase/bodykits/S301pc_front/tiltfrt_sample.htm
  4. ^^definitely looks sexy.....
  5. ^^ditto.. sounds like fun!
  6. i'm not insinuating that the 240 by any means had more net hp than the 280, but the difference isn't as drastic as previously stated (and so the power/weight ratio would be slightly different). anyway, the net figure that gav mentioned would be the 147 on the plates, correct? anyway, i am in no way saying that the 240 has more net hp than the 280. sorry for the misunderstanding
  7. Mr. camouflage - valid point, but one has to consider that those are the GROSS horsepower figures. if you compare the NET HP figures, you will find the power/weight HP figures will be slightly more biased towards the 240z (since the 240z had much less power-robbing smog equipment)
  8. i drive mine all the time. granted i don't get snow....
  9. zeds aren't terribly reliable, but to put it into perspective, the two cars i own are both 72 240zs....... and i love life.

  14. tasty. but don't the fours and rotories feel a mite jealous?
  15. ^^welcome to the site, marximus. as for your bumper, look in the classifieds... as i remember, one of our members was selling a set of '72 240z bumpers
  16. nice! glad to hear you can enjoy your car again..
  17. if it was lime like mine, i would say gunmetal...... but your car would probably look better with silver....
  18. ^that's true.... the tar might be (and probably is) painted body color, so it may appear as though you are looking at the metal... what i am referring to by saying that it will rust in other places is murphy's law of rust: if there is rust in one spot, there's rust somewhere else.
  19. por is easy fix? yes. will it guarantee that the floor won't rust out? no. your best bet is to strip the undercoating (no matter how much that's gonna suck) and get all of it (if there is more).
  20. haha...... ya, great poll though..
  21. ^ now we're tasting victor??? where is this thread going?????
  22. haha.... no offense carl, but you're just too old
  23. good show! can't say i agree with the 4bbls... but it's not my car! anyway, i'm glad to see you making an educated decision and that you put research into it. hope to see the build up!
