  1. I'm sure "noseeum" will have a supremely witty(in "noseeum's" opinion) response to put me in my place. I'll just swat it and go about my business. Chris
  2. As you say "don't see myself as arrogant". Its your own admission of doing this on other forums that defines yourself to us. We dont have to label you. Again, you've done it yourself. Quite correctly as a matter of fact. You are only thrilling yourself. I doubt that the "real" members here are even the slightest bit ruffled by you. You're a noseeum. One of those little annoying bugs that flit around the face when you're outside on a warm day. Chris

Thanks Bruce! Good to know. I really like Marty's idea. I have two air cleaner covers so I'm going to experiment a little. Chris
  4. Manners. Pot calling the kettle black. In my most cordial manner....may we ask your name? Do you have Z cars? Chris
  5. Will, you not have a diaper genie? Not hijjacking this thread, just couldnt help it. Chris

I hear you there. Your car is only the second one I've ever seen. I like the yellow paint and the black stripes. Nice. Chris
  7. Kind of Christmas related. http://load.pquinn.com/binaries/fries/ Chris

Welcome Red-Eye, nice 240Z. Is that roof painted or is it the rare vinyl roof? Chris
  9. Picture 2 is some sort of manifold for either vacumn or water. Never seem so many different hose ports though. The canister (pic 4) is a gas fume filter/absorber mechanism. Its got a replaceable element in it. Tied into the emission control devices. One on my 240SX and Xterra. FWIW, Chris P.S. From a website: "a vent line leading the vapors to the activated carbon canister where they are stored", "Fuel vapors from the carbon canister will be mixed with fresh air taken from the engine compartment."
  10. Thanks Will! Some of our members might freak out at this, but here's a little personal info from me to you all. My son is in daycare. The mom is from Morrocco (sp) and the father is from Libya!! They have two daughters of their own yet they treat my son Alex better than I could have ever expected. They are strict Muslim's and I have absolutley no problem with that. The fact that my son is safe and sound from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm is what matters most to me. FWIW, Chris
  11. Exactly. But I am the first to admit that its a very hard thing to do. Will, as a new father myself (he'll be 1 on the 11th) I hear what you're saying. You stated several things that I strongly believe in. Its just too bad that others want to push their beliefs/customs on others. But reality bites sometimes. Please take no offense from any of this. 280Z got me fired up. Chris
  12. Excellent response. Its a shame more people didnt and don't see things as you do. I didnt vote for Bush. I'm non-partisan. I believe in what a person stands for and what his/her past record is. I completely understand your rage in the other post. But you are preaching to the choir. And as long as you understand that it takes a HUGE amount of effort to affect change, then you are OK by me. I like your attitude. I just wanted to see what direction you went. Yes, you're young, but you'll learn. Like I have. You just have to remember this, sometimes ignorant people cant learn. No matter how many times they're told. And even if its laid out for them right in front of their faces. Hang in there man! Chris
  13. Sheesh, pretty exicted for an 18 year old. Have you even filed a tax return yet? Chris P.S. We were attacked because not everyone is as clear headed as you.
  14. Did I miss something in this thread? I dont think so. You must be joking! Chris
  15. Check out this link. These are the same as I run but mine were made in California. You'd be better off to buy them then have them made. I would think locally they would be more expensive. Maybe not though. http://www.modern-motorsports.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=6&PHPSESSID=5e8822934c24c5bdc583c30f8d8f635c Much luck, Chris
  16. I'm not trying to stir up trouble, but I if were giving 5 large for a Z, I would want to know that the car had been in an accident and repaired reasonably well. But as always, buyer beware. Chris
  17. Every 240Z I've owned has had the stock rear speaker in the left rear.
  18. Very nice S30 illustration Alan. Chris
  19. You want a stock steel wheel? I have some if you want me to UPS you one. You'd have to send me $10 paypal if you want it. Chris
  20. That was fantastic. The Lotus was great. I watched a guy in a Sunbeam Tiger do some AutoX once but never like either of these guys. WOW. Chris
  21. ChrisA commented on EricB's gallery image in Big Z Photo Collection
  22. The crank pulley is keyed to the crank nose. Cant fail. Much luck, Chris
