  1. Downloading the video now! Awesome speed... Looks like you only have 2 resonators (one for each pipe) on your system... I'm sure that would be very LOUD. I had a single lukey muffler and it was very loud... ! Awesome sound though
  2. SO SELFISH!! Keeping them all to yourself!

  4. Unfortunately I sucked up the last of his bandwidth it seems... "Site Temporarily Unavailable"

8000 for a 350 without an engine is still cheap......
  6. The site has gone over it's allowed bandwidth But I can say - you have one of the best C110 picture collections there is. Good stuff. Thanks for sharing!
  7. Good idea. One look at Kats' car is enough to persuade anyone to agree!!!
  8. The thing is, your V8 Z or blown RX still has to be registered and the conversion engineered. I think that's the beauty of the plan - no registered car can get past. It also kinda contradicts the governments push for carpooling. I dont think it's an effective, enforceable or consistent method. Well seriously, we dont have to live in one extreme or the other. There is a happy medium. We can live with Z's AND safe driving, surely? Easier said than done eh?
  9. Good onya Gav. That reminds me - it was funny when I did mine because there was this older guy (about 30, most of us were near 20) who wore sunnies the entire time and just thought he was all that (e.g. while waiting in line, he would do a burnout in his - you guessed it - Holden). In EVERY event, he either spun out, lost control or didn't listen well enough to know what to do. By the end of the day he wasn't so smug.

South Australian numberplate, but in Moreton Qld. And he has a Spanish email address. Hmm. I'm guessing he's just waiting for everyone to bid it up. It's only got 2 days left though, but it was listed only today.... we'll see! (I'll be watching it I'll tell you that much!!)
  11. OOooooh be careful Bill! I think Rick would rather you say "When you need advice, turn to WISE people." Much better
  12. Geeee now.. there are a lot of wild cars there... but there's one I'd like to see more pics of... THE Z!!!! Please!
  13. I think they're just gorgeous
  14. It's gunna be one TOUGH restoration job for whoever buys it... why do I get the feeling that the person who wins the auction won't know that, and the car will end up sitting for quite a while longer? I want to see this car LIVE again, as we all do I'm sure. Anyone want to have a guess at how much you might want to sink into her to get her up to scratch? :stupid:

Why?? http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=7766&sort=1&cat=551&page=2 (Maybe 9", but you get the idea)
  16. Do you mind sharing with us the final price? No probs if not, sounds like a lovely find you've got yourself there. Can't wait until you fit a V8 into it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 :tapemouth
  17. Bit of an oddball car, the "Coupe" is just brilliant...
  18. A couple of links - http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=32063&item=2487040110&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=32063&item=2487040111&rd=1
  19. Just an update, the auction is about to end... look at the price!! :S
  20. That's pretty low inflation for 14k to turn into 15k in 10 years, let alone the appreciation of the ever-dwindling parts...

  22. Yahoo Japan only needs your user ID to view an auction AFTER it's ended. The dash fascia went for 11500 yen. That's about $145. I stole the picture from the auction and attached it here in case you wanted to know what it looked like I think it would have been a good buy - it looks to be in near-perfect condition. Of course, a common thing the Japanese did was take the faux woodgrain panel off, and spray-paint it silver. Doesn't look exactly right, but good enough from a distance. The set of badges (also attached) went for 3700 yen. That's about $46. They were missing a few pins on the back though... Finally, the spoiler went for 4200 yen, which is about $53. Definitely second-hand, but for the price sounds like a bargain! Unfortunately for us, it's the shipping which kills...
  23. Some nice stuff on Yahoo at the moment isnt there! Thanks for sharing! Pity is, I've already got the dash fascia, and Skyline rear quarter badges Missing those darned GT badges though. It wouldn't be such a problem, but the GT-R "GT" badges were actually red. Yellow was the 2000GT-X, blue was 2000-GT and the rarest of all - green - was from the 2000GTX-E. If I remember right... If you're after some side "Skyline" badges, the ones from the C210 are ALMOST identical to the C110 ones. And you can find C210's everywhere (relatively). In fact, there are a set of the Skyline badges (and a spare!) on ebay at the moment: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2486617642&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT See if you can spot the difference Edit: What's a Vidiot????
  24. Thanks for the link Luke! Does anyone know what teh difference between manual and auto radiators is?
