ROFL Great story Sean, you'll remember that one!
  2. Wow, what a response. Looks very interesting, with Engineering and IT being at the top as expected... but... Is there a (medical) doctor in the house?!?!!! (isn't it funny, no lawyers either....... or at least, no one who admits it )
  3. Sorry to be asking the obvious but........ What is the purpose of the list? (ie what does it do the site doesnt)

The article says this "Type E" was made to allow the car ot enter the All Japan Grand Touring Championship. Nismo made a copy and you can now buy the bodykit from them... they say. The nose is a Nismo-option. What magazine said it isn't production??

Here's another picture of the Nismo option "G-nose".
  6. Oh I only just put this up a while ago mate. To select more than one item, you gotta select them all at the same time. Sorry, I should have said that before.
  7. Admittedly, Christopher's new acquisition of beauty number 27 inspired me for this topic - what do you guys actually DO for a living? I know a lot of guys here do IT work, but how wide does the cross-section actually go? Me - I am studying a Bachelor in Commerce majoring in management and a Bachelor in IT majoring in Multimedia. I made a poll here - sorry but there were only a max of 15 choices!! You can click multiple boxes if you do more than one thing, and it *says* that teh results are anonymous, so if you don't want us to know, but would like to add to the stats, you can do that!

ROFL 'attaboy. Let's see what he says (if anything!)
  9. Hi guys, I wasn't exactly too sure WHERE to ask this, so I put it in Electrical under 240Z, since I know if I put it under 240K I won't get any responses! I am assuming the petrol guage in the Z is the same as the K. Sorry for any inconveniences if this isn't true... My problem is that when empty, the guage will read just under a quarter full. When full, it will go maybe half way between 3/4 and Full. The latter is not so much of a problem... I'd just like it to be able to tell me when I'm nearing empty a bit more accurately. So the problem has to be in the guage, or the sender unit in the tank, right? I'm putting on my new dash fascia at the moment so now's the time to check the guage. I've attached some pictures in the hope that one of you has knowledge on how these things work, and if in fact my problem lies here. Can anyone help me?
  10. I was watching a Yahoo Auction in Japan that ended just yesterday... This grille started at 20,000, and ended yesterday at 100,000 yen. That's approx. $1,262 AUD. I've attached a pic. The link is http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f27000495 Just in case you thought your GT-R replica was gunna be easy :dead: Note this is genuine not repro, and steel (that's what I've been told they were made of anyway). I have a front grille on mine that cost a fair bit less than that, but it's FRP. It will have to do!!!!! FWIW

I think I scared him off... he didn't reply, so I asked him if my friend in Paris could come and have a look? He then said "sorry but I sold it... sorry".
  13. I think that's one modification no man here will object to!! Post pics when youre done
  14. Wow, sounds like you guys had lots of problems... I guess I shouldn't have taken my system for granted! 2.25" header back with a Lukey muffler (I have not heard a better muffler on a Z yet) for $240 Aussie and never had any problems with speed bumps. My suspension was at the stock ride height, though.
  15. That's not Eric B's car, this is Eric B's car!! http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=2408&size=big&sort=1&cat=all (Why is somebody WRITING on the roof :tapemouth )
  16. Good information to know! Sorry we're not of more help... this is unexplored territory for all of the regulars here. Keep up the great work

I got an email from the 350Z guy. You'd think they'd try to be a bit more original... Then I emailed him back: And a reply (he's quite good isn't he!): My response (unanswered so far...):
  19. It sounds easy enough, but finding a spare penny might be tricky these days!!
  20. It sounds like a very interesting test. I'm jealous you have someone that THOROUGH over there. I'd really like my carbs to be all tuned up perfectly. Excuse my ignorance for a moment but....... with a SOHC straight 6... are you sure all 6 cylinders are meant to contribute equally? :stupid:
  21. ROFL Congratulations Symon, don't collect all these DREAM-CARS at once though!! You are making some of us very, very jealous :paranoid:
  22. What look DO you want though? There are an infinite amount of things you can do to your paint to make it look different.... what are you trying to achieve? P.S. I think Rob's idea could work. Just make sure it's not too pansy
  23. I dont think this is all correct... but now I am interested in getting my story straight! Can anyone (Alan, Kats) clarify with full certainty?
  24. I think he means the later Zs - but still before the 280ZX. I think the model changed from S30 to S31 when they changed a few things (when the 260Z came in?). And G stands for 2+2? Geez, with trying to learn all about the C110's I've forgotten all the Z stuff :stupid:
