  1. This is a great question that can only be answered by opinions I believe. Even though I own a NMC Vintage Z I would think that an "all orginal unrestored historically correct S30" would be of more value but not by much. This unrestored Z would have to be just as if it had been in a time capsule. Absolutely perfect. The value would be that it has been "preserved" and well maintained. The Vintage Z would be hard to beat as I believe, and this is just my opinion, that these cars have been "re-assembled" to much better specifications. I have a inch thick manual called the "240Z Restoration Program Quality Control Checklist" that is simply amazing. The detail is beyond belief on what each one of thes cars went through. This manual should be the standard for which all fine automobiles are restored. Vicky
  2. Hey, I resent that statement. I'm a wife and I drive a Z Vicky

  5. 1970 LS6 454 bb is a beautiful thing. Friend had an all numbers matching one ,sold it for $46K. Man the Chevelle was perfect and the engine was just music to the ears Vicky
  6. You know alot!! It was in the "ricer" section of a performance catalog I just can't imagine that people would fall for such a line. But I quess if you'll bolt a park bench on your rear hatch you'll pay $160 for 4 plug wires for that 2 hp gain. Vicky
  7. from an 8mm wire? That's what this brand called "Nology" claims. They're called "Hotwires". Claim to add 2% to 5% more hp, increased torque, improved acceleration and high rpm limits. Here's their tag line..."The secret lies in the Hotwires built-in capacitor, which accumulates spark energy until voltage reaches an ionization point. The capacitor then discharges the stored spark energy all at once for a faster, more powerful spark and an added performance boost!" Just another line like the Split Fire plugs or a valid product. Oh yeah, the price is a mere $159.95 for a set 4!!! :tapemouth $160 bucks for 2 to 5 more hp seems kinda lame. Vicky
  8. Ahh.....yeah I can see that from just playing two Pre-Season games, it's all down here from now. Maybe they can become as good as your Cleveland Browns.........now that's a super bowl bound team :stupid:  Vicky
  9. zhead240, I never was a fan of that color green but after looking at those pictures my mind has been changed! That's a sweet car. Price seems right if the car looks as good as the pics. Do go check it out. Can you say road trip Vicky

  11. Question, from the factory or on a brand new Z (if you guys can remember), were the hoses black or did they actually have a brownish or dark brown tint? The one in the ebay add looks brown and/or faded. Vicky
  12. That's a pretty nice Z. Where abouts in Florida is the car? Those pics are definitely not in Florida.........I see mountains or at least a hill Vicky

  18. I'm a collector/investor of fine high end automobiles. I travel all over the world to purchase rare and vintage cars. I bring them back in my own personal 747 which I actually hold a pilots license to fly. NOT I'm a loan processor and my husband is a ThemoDynamic Engineer which is a fancy word for residential and commercial air conditioning concept and design. Vicky

A snake skin on the console!!! Be careful Chris, the owner of that skin just might still be residing in the car I received your e-mail about the "Welcoming Party" for the Princess but Scott's on call this weekend so I don't think we'll make it. I'm gonna try and convince him to go though. Jim Peters said the party was from noon to 1 pm...only an hour? Again congrats on the new addition! Vicky

Blown strut? (Don't laugh guys, just throw'in out a bone there) Vicky
  21. I would pay $3 million for that car. It's such a piece of history. I would also restore it to the day it first laid a tire on the track. It would be kept in my private climate controlled garage along with my other "I wish I owned" cars. God I gotta win the lottery :tapemouth Vicky

Nope, still don't care for it. Don't like the way the back-end (from that side shot) rises up. Looks like it was backed into a light pole. By extending the length, it makes the nob on roof even more pronounced. If they would just make the roof line flatter and blend into the rear (like our Z's) I might enjoy the view. JMO Vicky
  23. Hey rusty260z, how about some "ghost Z's" painted on you car. I've seen a few hot rods with ghost flames. Looks really good because the graphics aren't so over powering. You could get the "ghost Z's" painted behind the front wheels where the motor heads normally put the flames. Even on the hood they'd look good. You have to be at the right angle to see them, pretty neat I think. JMO Vicky
  24. The fuel pump starts on my 77 as soon as the key is in the start position on the ignition. Vicky
  25. Bill, does you car run yet? I wasn't sure if it's in running order or not. I think you should put money into the engine and get it top knotch first. Body mods can come later. Don't be like some folks (not Z'ers) that have all this stuff on the car but it runs like crap. What happens if you by spoilers, rims and such and find out you could have used that money for a major engine part you need. (Of course if you Z's engine is primo then the entire paragraph is null and void) Vicky
