  1. If you're looking to "drink your dinner", I really like Paulaner Salvator Double Bock. It reminds me of what I had in Munich during the Stark Bier festival. The monks would use more malt to add nutrional value when ending their fast.
  2. Congratulations Greg Ira and thank you jmark for the fantastic photos.
  3. Here is a collection of IMSA photos other photographers have been kind enought to let me use for the website. There is even a ticket autographed by Bob Sharp from Carl Beck. http://zlalomz.googlepages.com/imsagtuz
  4. Five & Dime, your dad has excellent taste!
  5. I love inboard brakes. Have you seen Bryan Feldmans Jag rear end in a 510? http://www.bryanf.com/510/rsusp.htm
  6. Ok, I have attached a photo by Paul Woodbury. You can find a couple more on my IMSA photo website http://zlalomz.googlepages.com/imsagtuz
  7. Alan, I admire your relentless quest for historical fact. Rob, I admire your desire to argue as gentlemen. Now as my wife who is a school teacher would say, "A gold star for both of you". I wish I was an Admin so I could impose the "boobs thread law". If you don't post a picture, don't post.
  8. Here is a pic I took at Laguna Seca. The Bob Sharp IMSA GT/U Z is above the Porsche and the Frisselle Z is leaving the frame on the left.
  9. I love your 510. It makes me miss my 510s. They were never as nice as yours but still buckets of fun. This was 2 weeks ago. 4 Zs in a 3 car garage. My brother's beautiful and fast white Z has since been sold to a good home. It will only see track days. I am swapping a 5 speed into the orange automatic street car, and then working on the green car. The green car is kind of a kit car now that I have everything to finish it. Just add motivation and stir in some extra room to work now! Anyone in Nor-Cal want a free automatic tranny?
  10. August 15-18 1991 4th Annual National Z Car convention held in Pleasanton Ca. I think I know the guy who took first in street prepared at the autocross:) If anyone wants scans from the program let me know. Steve Millen and Frank Honsowetz were guest speakers.
  11. Congratulations to you John Thomas, Rick Martinez and Tom Holt!!! Congrats to Andrew Canak for second place, his first Nationals in a Z? How was your new motor Rick? And Andy Craig? Someone team up with him and get him back in a Z, he's my hero.
  12. The new GT-R if they throw in some Depends for when the turbos kick in. http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071017/FREE/71017001/1065
  13. Some Ronal Racing wheels on my brother's Z. 3 piece 16 inchers which Ronal no longer makes in this diameter.
  14. This looks very interesting with a nice '72 and a rust free '70 body thrown in. The price is too high for me but maybe for someone else here. http://sacramento.craigslist.org/car/393212410.html

I came across a build thread for the car with a few more photos. http://atlanticz.ca/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=98&topic=1041.0
  16. Here is a Prepared Datsun with the floor to roof metal bulkhead.
  17. Here is part of the e-mail from the original owner. Zwolf's flares look like they were molded from these original ones. "The bodywork was done in San Jose, by Steve Doudy at Sport Performance. They created the molds from either Joel's or Frank's parts. The flares were lower than the original race flares so that the cars wouldn't have much space between the tires and fender lip."
  18. It was Sport Performance and Joel Anderson. Scott Performance was in the same industrial complex at the same time.
  19. Carl B. the black one I've been told is connected to Pierre Z in L.A. The last I heard was it was sold to someone in Japan. I tried to get more photos from Pierre but with no luck. Enigma. I talked to the owner of the red one and the flares were done recently. The car I am looking for was built by Sport Perfomance in northern Ca. Thanks everyone for any leads.
  20. I am trying to help the original/owner builder of this Z locate his car. I know this Z is not many folks cup of tea here at ClassicZCar but I also know there are many well connected Z lovers on this site. More info can be found half way down this page. http://zlalomz.googlepages.com/streetimsa
  21. I can't vouch for the mileage but this car might be interesting for someone here. It just needs S.U.s and a hood to go back to stock. http://sacramento.craigslist.org/car/305355696.html
