240Z Replacement Upper Hatch Panel
While searching the web I came across someone selling these reproduction panels that were handmade and took 3-4 weeks to get once ordered. I cannot find that person/company again. Does anyone know who makes this panel besides Tabco and JDM Parts?

Yellow Inspection Paint Dabs From The Assembly Line
Hi all, Below are two pics from The 240Z Guild's 1971 Datsun 240z Series One (#19769) with 64k miles still wearing its original factory Code 905 Monte Carlo Red paint. As you can see these pics show the Yellow Inspection Paint Dabs From The Assembly Line on part of the suspension. When did the factory start using the yellow inspection paint? Starting in 10/69? Or when? What areas of the 240Z had Yellow Inspection Paint Dabs? Were there other colors used in other areas of the car? Here is a link to the facebook post on the car showing the car inside and out for those who want to look at the original factory paint job with no factory undercoating. Thanks, Brad

What brand of undercoating is the old brand that you are going back to using? Curious to know why you tried a new brand. Thanks.

THE RESTORATION OF CAR #304
Yes, you are correct. Rod is doing the restoration of the car for me. I saw the car originally on eBay and RAN over to meet the seller and bought the car on the spot! Miguel is doing the body and paint work (the same person who is doing @motorman7 paint and body work). We are doing a complete ground up restoration as if it just rolled out of the factory.

Z cars at the Concours
Wow, Rich. A great story and what a beautiful car!! I will be down in Santee in the next few weeks and will go by and take a look at her. I have a '71 Trans Am that would have fit great in the exhibit.
