! redneck pimp! I recon their ok. It just looks taky and before their time. A targa would look good if done proply, the ad. in my gallery for one is tacky looking. The chrome strips arnt the same.

It sounds like fuel to me. I donno about the electrics.. shouldnt be if all of your other electrics are going. Take you spark plugs out, clean em and check the clearances.

It doesnt do it for me... A 240z with standard bodywork and with big mo-foing deepdish rims!. Looks odd. Colour is ok... Yeh a comparison of the two would be good!

My general workshop teacher told the class that the other day. So funny at the time coz half the people in the class didnt get it(i did).

Cheers ChrisA, That helped alot. In AUS if people dont get into university(or dont wanna) there is TAFE. Its like a lower level of uni, but still tertiary(sp?) schooling. Or they go into the workforce, like me!

I dont get this American schooling system... In AUS we have Preprimry- from 5yrs Primary- years 1-7 High School- years 8-12 University- For however long In AUS you can drop out in year 10. Years 11 &12 focus on uni (for some reason they dont encourage trades!?!) Years 11 & 12 are SERIOUS! im in year 11, if I get an apprentaship this year I'll leave FOR GOOD! if not... I'll keep on till next year.

I want GT4 so much! Any idea when its gonna be released in AUS? GT3 is getting bland:tapemouth . All well i remember the 240ZG in GT2 hard to get. And do you remember what it looked like with 'race trim'? it had a brittish flag on it i think! My mate has an X box and Project Gotham 2, ill have to have a looksee.

That story reminds me of another involving lost and wasted cars. I got ths from "high performance imports" magazene a while ago. 1994 HKS Zero R. HKS Japan, in 1994 bought 11(i think) Nissan Skyline R32 GT-Rs and put all of their best goodies of that time in them. They were claimed to have 400ps+ but that could be improved to about 700ps when the boost was turned up. All custom bodykit, mags(18") and interior. They cost 30,000,000 Yen in 1994. 3 were bought. The rest just sat outside the HKS factory collecting mold and rust. Apparently still there. (hope my facts are straight) If you want the full story, and if i get enough requests, I'll scan the magazene topic and post it on my website(it'll be too big for the gallery.

I was wondering, and im sure some others were, what heads come of what years/models because i read about 'e31's and 'N-something-or-arthors' and i dont know what your all talking about. Im sure it would be helpful to alot of us if someone could name the heads avaliable for the L24/L26/L28 and their differences.

I dont have a Z yet but from a quick gallery search it looks like the 'dash emblum' is a thick plastic sticker. To get it off i sugest to pick a corner with a small scraper or stanly knife and peel it off(maybe grab it with pliers.) To get rid of the glue residue just use some 'goo remover' and a small scraper. Thats assuming it is plastic and you dont want to keep it. It shouldent damage your dash.

Whoooww..... You put a big shiny tacho on the 240zs dash? *cough*RICER*cough*. Thats unless you have full mods and need it. 240zs redline at 7000rpm dont they?

I wouldnt have a clue but looks like the computer. goto your local Automotive bookshop and have a browse in a 280zx Haynes or simmilar workshop manual and see what the hell it is. Free and easy... unless you want to buy the book of course. Cheer'z' Chris

It looks a great front bar... It just doesnt suit the Z. Especially with blue fog lites and silver mesh... Yeh it need side skirts to balance it out. Surprised that someone hasnt become outraged about a modern, almost rice front bar on a BRE painted 240z. I love those rims! Cheer'z' Chris
