Are the 240z and 260z accesories (power steering, air-con etc) interchangeable. If this makes no sence to you, read on. Say I have a bog-standard 1970 240z and a bog-standard 260z. Can I pull the power steering unit or air-con unit off the 260z and put it in the 240z with ease? or will it be easyer to get a custom installation?

I have been looking at some pics of 240zs (as you do) and realised there are 2 types. A all horizontal one(2) and a horizontal with small vertical bits(1). I have included a pic. Why is this. Im thinking the year released.

Hi, does anybody know if an L28 head and block fit straight onto the orginal 240z engine mounts? Does it need a different intake manifold if i wanna keep carberators coz the L28 engine was injected. I've seen it done but am unsure. I thought it would be cheaper than a full port and polish. :tapemouth
Shouldn't the new "350Z" be called the "350ZX"? I base this on the fact that Nissan called the "280ZX" a "ZX" because it used a different body design to the privious models. And if im not mistaken the "350Z" looks conpletely different to the "300ZX". If no-one can answer this question, can you please tell me the Nissan Australia/Japan e-mail?
Hiya, does anyone know where I could get a samuri conversion for a 240z in Australia(W.A if possible)? If not could someone tell me the complete list of exact modifications/parts needed? Also could someone tell me what the engine modifications/parts used in the rally 240z? Thanx
Is the RB26DETT/RB26DET transplant very complicated? Do you have to cut away all of the gaurds? Or does it just fit in with some custom fittings? I'm thinking of making this conversion to the 240Z i'm gonna get(first car)!
