  1. Will that Bosch fuel dampener be compatible for a 1977 280Z fuel injection?
  2. Not necessary today but in the last 2 weeks I ordered Sean Dezart's stainless steel headers and exhaust system from France for my 1977 280Z 2+2. Ordered black leather seat coverings (front and rear) and black leather door skins from Interiorinnovations. Pictures will come after I rebuild my engine and install them all.
  3. Can you not get a 4-wheel thrust angle alignment for a 280Z? I know on a 280ZX Turbo I owned, 4-wheel thrust angle was advised, Of course that was for a ZX.
  4. Froeliche Weinaucten und Ein Gutes neu Jahre! or something like that!
  5. It's a seam welder. In a way like a spot welder but for a continuous weld. A lot of catalytic converter are seam welded. High voltage with the copper disc providing pressure.

Mike Interior Innovations can make them, just send them an email and ask. I'm looking at ordering new leather interior that all matches. Also, topgaiters on ebay offer leather doorskins.

Yep, Wheee! I sent their site ( info@interior-innovations.com ) an email asking whether they could produce the door skins for my 2+2, as it is an Arizona car with cloth seats and door panels. I wanted the new door skins to match the seats. They said they could and would make them and quoted $400 for the pair and $25 for map pockets. I am ordering them in the next couple of weeks. Just send them an email,

I'm planning on order new leather seat covers for my 77 280Z 2+2 front and rear from them. I'm ordering custom door skins too. I told them they should advertise on here, too.

No T-tops. So does any body have a set of Z pedals? As for rubber/seals I will see what I can do.

Hi! Steve from Brownstown here. I have a 77 280Z auto that I'm converting to a 5speed from a 82ZX. I wonder if the clutch/brake pedals or assembly is compatable with the 77Z. Also have extra parts from the 82ZX available. All the glass is good. The body is rusted, however it had almost new fenders on it. Still can read the made in Taiwan stickers on them. Thanks if you tell me about the compatability with the clutch/brake assembly.
  14. Yup, 100% chance of weather; whether you like it or whether you don't!
  15. I have Koenig Rewinds 16 X 7 on my 77 2+2 with 0 offset IIRC. No rub no problem. I like them. Bought all 4 plus 4 Michelin 205R16 installed, balanced with lugnuts from Discount Tire online for 1000 even no sales tax. I was pleased.

You guys could stop off at Jackson, Tn to visit the Casey Jones museum, since your into railroads. It's rioht on I40, about 90 miles from Memphis.
  17. Yesterday I purchased a !982 280ZX NA 5 speed for a parts car. Going to pull the engine/transmission and r200 to augment my 77 280Z 2+2 auto. Are there any other parts that I might use for my 280Z? Will the pedals transfer to the 280Z?

Backend looks like a Vega wagon.
  19. VVeeerrrry Interesting! Schon gut!
  20. I have the Defenders and they are a low noise 80k rated tire. Also if you order and pay online you can save on sales tax.
  21. Zero offset. Only problem is the front dustcaps aren't deep enough. there are threads here about people hammering the inner dust caps 2mm in to allow enough clearance for the caps. By the way the Michelins I purchased carry a 80k warrenty.
  22. I purchased 4 new graphite rewinds (16X7) and Michelin Defender (205/55/16) for my 77 Z at Discount Tire online with warrenty, installed for a 1000. That was out the door.
