Rotisserie Mounting Points
The rear mounts on my rotisserie are not as long as yours so they don't have as much leverage as yours. Mine still droop some. The plate at the rear bumper is double sheet spot welded together with a tube piece welded up behind that runs across the rear of the car IIRC. Your rotisserie is nice and heavy. You should be fine, spin it!

Drivers side fiberglass headlight bucket
Your wants are not being questioned but good FRP buckets are hard to find. As these cars get older and the parts become more rare it is important that you consider all options to make it possible to keep these cars up and on the road. Also minor repairs on headlight buckets gives you a lot more options for viable candidates. I understand no cracks because it can be hard to make an effectual repair. Studs and holes are a lot easier and make a replacement much more affordable and easier to find...

Winter Storage using Water Wetter
Zed I think his point is the track tech people don't want antifreeze in the cars on the track. Tomo Why don't you just drain the car until warmer weather shows up. Store the solution in jugs. This might be a problem if you plan on driving during the winter but you are pretty far North for that. The block can't freeze if it's not full of water...

LD28 Crank - Purchase
There is someone asking 2k for a crank on ebay but you can source them for $700-800 in the US. There was also one in New Zealand for sale recently that you could get shipped to the US. The cranks are very tough but it needs to be inspected by a competent crank shop. Straightened, polished and balanced with the rest of the rotating assembly. Sometimes people are interested in other parts off the diesel, the intake, the head, the diesel guys want the injectors and pumps sometimes...

2 4 0 Z Uh Oh Project
Those are MAD metal skills!!! I have a real appreciation for the work you've done, having done some of this work myself but not to this extent. Really hard to fabricate some of those pieces and the shear amount of hours it takes to get to this point. Just a little more and you will be done with metal work... Did you fabricate you own outer rockers too?

Fair price for a 1972 with issues
I watched a car on Ebay recently near the SC coast that had similar or more rust and it sold for $1,500 or so. Mechanically it was worse because all of the drive train was out and who knows what was and wasn't there. the interior was also trashed. This use to be a $400 car but not anymore. I would rather have the damage up front than rust any day. I did that to my first Z back in college, new hood and air dam and was good to go. I am sure the radiator support can be straightened unless it is really mangled. They are fairly light so it should just pull out. What is the asking price?

Vapor lock questions for the hotter climate guys
I was assuming that the fuel was sloshing up onto hotter parts of the fuel bowls and vaporizing. That seemed like the only effect swerving would have on vapor lock.

How to protect a new paint job during restoration
I get a catalog that has protective coatings in there for construction projects and stuff. I don't have one laying around right now and I can't recall the name. There is probably something in there that would work. I tried to google "static protective filmns" but didn't find anything really exciting there. Ahh I found it! www.pro-tect.com
