What kind of cost to paint a car like this?

nice 71 with matching numbers engine
Looks like a nice clean desert car. Will be interesting to see how high that goes

Crashworthiness of a 77 280z
All things considered, I would say he is lucky to be alive. Especially from the looks of the car

All-new Z car (code-named Z35) will honor the legendary Datsun
I have always hated this reality. I wonder how many things the design team for the original 240 was able to stick too regardless and because of it they hit a home run?
- I need everyone's help on this

Unreal! When they sober up we'll talk. 5k!!! Insane!!

Purchased a 73 240z automatic
An AC car. I would keep that even though you may not need it! If you go to sell it, it may help have a broader audience...As for the transmission. If it's a bolt on mod and easily reversed I wouldn't worry about it. Keep all the original parts....

At The Salvage Yard
I have had salvage yard refuse to sell the whole car. So I told them to cut it in half. I'll buy both pieces. Sometimes that works...

I have this mustache bar out of the Z I am currently working on. I believe this bar is correct for the R200 diff's. Can somebody confirm that for me? I am going to rebush it but don't want to do it if it's not the right bar...

1971 Series I Project for $3K in Orlando
I would tend to agree the car wouldn't really have any value unless it was a sub 100 car. One of the very early cars is being redone. It looked like swiss cheese when he started. Even a sub 100 car would be worth less than $2000 to me. You are really just buying the title and the vin plates at this point. You will end up replacing or patching 80% of this car...

MSA satin black Konig Rewinds are coming.. need tires
Maybe it has something to do with mirror coverage for the guy behind you and the likely location of the car behind you ???

I think he was referring to the glass only. I agree, not much left. Maybe $200 of used parts...

Time to sell my Z. What's she worth?
Sarah, It is nice to here from you even for this reason... Do you have a starting point for what you think the car is worth or what you want out of it? NA Miata's are a lot of fun. We had one. With a little more horsepower they would be hard to beat for the money

1971 Series I Project for $3K in Orlando
I would agree that "bolt on" mods don't really count. The car in this add is toast! The firewall is rusted through. Hadn't seen that before!! If he can get $3000 or even half that I am sitting on a gold mine!

sweatys rebuild
I tend to agree with this. I have a make shift booth but I still get some trash in my paint and have flaws. I will probably cut and buff when I'm done which will remove most of them. It is just really hard to get great professional results in a small shop with out a good booth and high end paint guns...
