The adjustment you are looking for is when you spin the tire by hand is it should go a half rotation of the wheel. And the park brake adjustment method usually dose not work. When rear is adjusted right the pedal will feel much better. BGM

I think Nissan meant for the hood and belly pan to act as a shroud dose on a car with more space in that area.

It helps with aerodynamics and cooling. One z i know of had a fire do to redbull can came up through the void of no belly pan and grounded the starter and it burnt bad.

The 240 came with a small shroud like this. The auto trans came with full shroud. The belly pan is necessary for fan cooling air flow.

Spent two hours scrubbing black tar glue from vapor barrier on doors on my 78. What a mess that stuff is i saw it dripping down when warm for the two years that i drove the car. Did the 240 have that black mess applied. NISSAN must have got it cheap.
