Had a little fun with this one... CZCC Country2.mp3
  2. Thanks, yeah I'll do the installs one at a time.
  3. I finally got around to ordering the Nismo pump. Take a look at it installed on the Kyusha bracket. I'll be installing on the car next time we have a nice day here in Seattle.

@zKars thanks for digging those out and taking photos, I really appreciate it. I've currently got three options: Old set from jfa - $ - Likely a lot of repair/fitting work required New/old set from zKars - $$ - Some repair/fitting work required New set from resurrectedclassics - $$$ - Least repairs but likely fitting required

Gents, I got this from an email through our support system. It's about a period correct tire size for those of you sporting stock rims. I thought I would share here. No affiliation and he is not a sponsor on the site. Please check for accuracy. Mike

Thanks @zKars, do you have all three pieces?

Hi guys, I'm strongly considering going to a stock front valance. My car currently has an airdam installed. I like it but eventually this car will need to go back to its former glory. I may consider one of the BRE short airdams in the center though. Anyway, do you have any ideas where I can find a set in good condition? I've been away from the real world for awhile. Mike
  8. I think he was having issues with his powder-coat service so he made a stainless version.
  9. Probably, but I think the pump itself is mounted on rubber bushings?
  10. Update: I did purchase this and was contacted by the shop owner, Taka Sato, soon after I placed the order. He said he has a new (v2) in stainless and would be interested in my feedback. I agreed to the new version and he threw in a T-shirt and sticker. Great guy and very safe purchase. Now I just need to buy the actual fuel pump. 🙂
  11. Looks like you're the only one going... 😛
  12. Yep, that's why this group is so great! We all know how to get things one way or another. You can't find a decent bracket anymore. Most of the unit's I've seen are rusty, bent, or just not available. AFIK, Nissan no longer sells them. The way I look at it, we shouldn't bash a company because of something we can do ourselves. However, they have found a need and filled it with a product. I highly respect this idea and encourage it. I don't have the time, nor the resources, to build my own. So, I have purchased it with the intention of focusing my time elsewhere. Do-it-yourself projects are always a decision between time or money. But I WILL be installing this myself... 😉 As far as my status, I received an update the next day I placed my order with Kyusha. The next batch of brackets are in production now and I'll get one fresh off the press. Mike
  13. I just placed an order for this bracket. I'll let you know how it goes.

Ah this is sad news.. He was an active member here in the past. I remember him fondly. Blessings go out to his family. Rest well, and drive that perfect Z in heaven my friend.

For me, the list is small but complex: Find and install a rebuilt brake switch distribution valve Install higher temp brake fluid (damn headers are too hot) Buy and install a Mikuni heat block shield (again, headers) Buy and install Nismo electric fuel pump and bracket m

Hope everyone has a great new year! BTW, what *ARE* your resolutions (with your Z of course)?
  17. I'll be purchasing this after the new year and installing one of the Nismo pumps. It looks like the pumps are readily available on Ebay. Does anyone know if there was a period-correct pre-filter for this setup?
  18. Yes, there are holes pre-drilled in the frame. I found mine over the summer -- behind the passenger rear wheel and near the tank. Sorry can't find the pic.
  19. Aha! I may have found it!!! FYI, I have no dealings with this business so take at your own risk. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cqgj_2NvPjw/?img_index=1 Buy here: https://kyushahouse.myshopify.com/products/zsm-custom-nismo-fuel-pump-bracket-for-s30-240z-280z Mike
  20. I would be interested.. 😉 Also someone mentioned that Taka-something is remanufacturing these. I have no idea who they are, but a link would be much appreciated.
  21. Wasn't sure if I added this somewhere on the site already. So, I'm adding this to my CZCC personal blog. Mike Gholson of the Classic Zcar Club knows wheel fitment is key to getting the look that makes his car stand out. Mike came to VTO Wheels because he knew our fitment and customer service is the best in the industry. The VTO Classic 8 GTR 16"x7" wheels gives Mike's Z car a stylish finish, while the deeper lip gives a much more desirable and understated aggressive look. This yellow beauty is sitting on stock struts with Tokico springs that lower the car 1 inch. The VTO's are 0mm offset and wrapped in 205/55-16 BFG G-Force Sport 2 sticky rubber. No rubbing issues are reported, and the ride is said to be smooth and free of vibration. Thank you for your support, and please let VTO help you find the perfect fit for your next project, whatever the year, make, or model may be. Don't know what offset or bolt pattern to run? With us fitment doesn't have to be a guess! We will send you a wheel to test your fitment so you know that when you place an order, the fit will be perfect. Shop VTO Wheels

Awesome, I love to see a next generation student driving in style...
  23. @inline6 nice work, she's looking good! Quick question, where'd you get that beautiful brake light switch (looks like a proportioning valve)? Mike

Thanks guys! It's all good, I didn't see how this map update screwed up the profile page but it's a programming thing. Rather than try to fix it, I think we need to do some updates on the server back-end to get the newest update installed first. And, yes I'd love to visit Hungary to go check out their beautiful Z cars !! 😉
