  1. well, a bit more trading and got this mug, not 240z but still kind of cool.
  2. Went over to Vancouver Island on Sunday and spent the day on a cruise with a bunch of Datsun folks, it was a enjoyable drive. Everyone did the social distancing thing. @zKars I think you would know most if not all of these cars and their owners.
  3. I have been using the Kia weatherstripping on both doors and the hatch for 5 years now and have no issues with noise and/or fumes. The doors close with a nice quiet click.
  4. The only things that I can think of that could be different are when they changed the supports under the top of the fenders that the little foam pads sit on from one to two, and the metal tabs for the wire harness down the length of the passenger rail changed from one to a double tab. I am not sure when those changes occurred and neither will be a problem.
  5. Sorry no I tossed it when I replaced it with the exedy one. I had no problems installing it.
  6. Well that is good that you do not have a odd transmission, but still sucks as to what is the answer your problem.
  7. Rcv — 150. Mine - 153 73. 74 20. 18 25. 26 as well, I get 136 to the flat that the pivot screws into, Hope this helps.

  9. I looked at my spare A and get 105mm to the pivot, what other measurements do you want me to check.
  10. I found this site good for some things. https://www.autopartsway.ca/category.cfm?nissan/1971/240z/base/2.4l-l6/allb/allct/allsct
  11. I missed the birthday for mine it was on the 25th.
  12. I found the post , I was wrong, it was a car that @zKars scrapped.
  13. One way to tell, even though most of the pollution stuff was removed, is if it has three or four lines under the car. A non emission car will have three, main fuel, fuel return line and brake lines. A emission car will have four, the extra vapour return line from the flow valve. Even if someone removed all of the emission stuff, I do not think they would bother to change all of the line rubber bits from four holes to three.
  14. Yes, my car has the same cover, I asked the same question about them in my build thread and also got no clear answer. I think I saw one on one of the cars that @zKars had bought and sold a while ago. I wonder if it is a "UN" cold weather option that never made the parts book. @grannyknot, do you know if you 01955 car was a "UN" model?
  15. So the old “company store” trick
  16. Hope she gets a cut of the profit
  17. I would be in for a set, and also hoping that the cdn dollar is stronger by the time you have them ready.
  18. But that is my point, the UN has no smog pump/anti-emissions devices and also a different distributor.
  19. Alan: I think the HLS30UN would be included in the UK/Aus/Euro/NZ list, Yes? Just no 5-speed.

  21. My 7/70 has the one on the left.
  22. What is the assembly in the third photo for ? I do not think I have seen that before.
  23. I can imagine what kind of buzz this car generated at that first show, every photo you show us from that show has a large crowd around the car. It would have been very cool to be in that crowd seeing it for the first time. The hostess in the background looks very lonely.
