  1. What type of shocks are you using? I put Nissan Euro-spec springs on my '70, which were supposed to lower the car 3/4". I also put in Tokico gas shocks. The result seemed to actually raise the car instead of lowering it. Time did not make it settle either. I think it is the gas shocks pushing up the car. I never got around to addressing the issue. On my '71, I put in lowering springs and 5-way adjustable Tokico's and it did not raise the car at all.
  2. Oh, and adding a starter relay is a great idea regardless of the issue are having. I've seen burned up contacts inside the ignition switch caused by the solenoid current (which can be upwards of 8A or so IIRC).
  3. I liked my 240 seats until It went on the track. I couldn't believe how much I slid from right to left and left to right. One shouldn't have to concentrate on staying in the seat while keeping the car on the road. The next race I packed myself in with a pillow on each side. That helped a great deal but seats that fit would be a major improvement when it comes to spirited driving.

I ran electric fans/shroud on my car and I had issues with the thermostat that would control the electrical fans. I got off the track one time and the dang fans were not on. I saw @ around 4:30 these dudes are using a stock fan. I figured if it was good enough for them I’ll switch… and I’ve never had to think about the fans again. Good temps on the track now too.

Go ahead and replace it I say. The Exedy is a great choice. I have one in both my Zs. https://www.amazon.com/EXEDY-06009-OEM-Replacement-Clutch/dp/B001B5D7TE
  6. Yeah, that doesn't help at all. So it does it... You walk away from the car to get help. Walk back with help. They turn the key while you have a hand on the starter, and it cranks fine that time. And the next 1000 times in a row.
