My general thoughts are that the car is priced right at the top of the main stream cars. No crazy history or exceedingly rarity excluded. If you choose to price a car in this range, you need to be prepared for serious scrutiny. If this car was 10k or even 20k it wouldn't receive this level of critiquing. If you are going to price yourself in the #1 category you should be prepared for the corresponding review. The previous owners views, desires or hardships have very little bearing on whether the car is worthy of the value that they have attached to the car. Even though we may be sympathetic to that...

Unless I am mistaken the E brake is all mechanical. The main circuit is hydraulic. My first guess is the seals are deteriorated and they leak when the pressure is removed from them by the E brake. That is however just a guess...

Messing which one up? The one that came with the car or the 280zxt harness your trying to install? Im not aware of any harness/Ecu option for a stock configuration ZXT motor swap. If you decide to go MS you will need chickenmans help. My uncle just went to MS and said without his support it would be near Impossible on his own.

Battery cables not original. Those blue PU sway bar end link bushings are a complete buzz killer along with the exhaust patch complete with the famously "original" worm gear clamp @JSM mentioned. Nice car but wtf---why nose dive it on minor details if you are asking top dollar. All dressed up in a tux and a booger hanging off your nose!
