  1. T'was the night before Christmas and out in the garage, No trace of a Chevy, Ford, or a Dodge. The presents were wrapped and the lights were all lit, So I figured I'd work on the Z car a bit. I popped the release and lifted the hood, When a deep voice behind me said "That looks pretty good." Well, as you can imagine, I turned mighty quick, And there, by the workbench, stood old Saint Nick! I stood there a bit, not to sure what to say, Then he said. "I don't suppose you'd trade for my sleigh?" "No way, Santa" I said with a grin, "But if you've got the time we can go for a spin!" His little round mouth, all tied like a bow, Turned into a smile and he said "Sure! Let's go!!" So as not to disturb all the neighbors' retreat, We quietly pushed the car to the street. Then, taking our places to coast down the hill, I turned on the key and let the clutch spill. The sound that erupted took him by surprise, But he liked it a lot, by the look in his eyes. With tires' screaming and exhaust aglow, We headed on out to where the Hot Rodders' go. And Santa's grin widened, approaching his ears, With every shift as I banged through the gears. Then he yelled "CAN'T RECALL WHEN I'VE FELT SO ALIVE!" So I backed off the gas and asked Santa to drive. Ol' Santa was stunned when I gave him the keys, When he walked past the headlights he shook at the knees! The old Z exploded with a sweet exhaust sound, Then Santa popped the clutch and the tires scarred the ground! Power shifting into second, and again into third! I just hung on, watching, at a loss for words, Then I heard him exclaim as we blasted from sight, "Merry Christmas to all, and what a great night!"
  2. Yes, it's a TT with 14K original Miles. Not originally pictured is my 88 Turbo SS with 8K miles. I ended up with all white cars without planning on it. Thanks to all for the comments. Here are some pics.

  8. Thank you, same wishes for you and your family. I always look forward to your post. You bought your Z brand new and still have a deep passion for these cars. That means a lot to me and for the other owners of these cars. Here's my local forecast through the weekend. I will have a hard time working on the heater core wile it's 75 degrees Christmas day.
  9. Nope, no need to hide it. On you, it looks good and seems to work quite nicely. Best wishes for a Merry Alabama Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year from the SoCal desert. Keep your comments coming - looking forward to some more good ones in 2017. Dennis

  13. The pressure should be the same throughout the system. When you pressure test it, the system should be cold, and don't pressurize it beyond 13 or 14 lbs. (normal system pressure)
  14. Hi guys, just catching up. Overall, I would like to think that our website served an overall larger purpose. We did the right thing by informing a fellow human being the correct value of a classic car sitting in his garage. It shouldn't matter if he is a newbie, or a long upstanding member, because I think our opinions bring value to the overall hobby. I am proud that we come across as a helpful friendly bunch and can be considered a trusted source for Z community.
