Sister 1972 240z cars. I have been in contact with the previous owners for about half a decade. They decided to sell to me recently. ?

Serial Numbers are only a few hundred apart.

Nice, are you also going to post the restorations here on this forum?  Not everyone does the instagram/facebook thing.

I agree with grannyknot....post here too. Looks like a challenging restoration. You are very brave on the rusty one.......my favorite color for a Z!

I will post updates here if people would like. There are 2 of us working on these currently. We hope to make good progress this summer.

I agree, 112 Yellow is a great Z color!

Me too. My favorite actually.Their paint doesn't look that bad to me, probably clean up?

Mine was similar but after about 5 washes with different types Turtle Wax it cleaned up the original paint to the signature picture on the left. Then after the motor rebuild was done I had it cut and buffed. The right picture.

They did clean up well, here is a picture of the automatic in my garage.
