Z Cars On TV And In Movies

I know this isn’t TV or Movies but there is an article in the April 2019 Road and Track about Zs.

The article says the name Datsun came from when Masujiro Hashimoto of Kwaishinsha Motors named his first automotive effort DAT. The first four letters of his three backers, Den, Aoyama and Takeuchi. Petty cool... learned something.

Good find there on the Datsun name source

I always heard the joke that they said "I need a car by tomorrow", and the reply is "That Soon??" (Dat Soon)

Just watched the movie The Dirt on Netflix on a flight this AM. It’s movie about the story of the band Motley Crew. Anyway there was a 280z in there for about 4 seconds. 1:17:19 remaining in the movie when you see it. That band was insane.

Watching TV last night and caught this Boost Cellular ad with what appears to be a 73 240Z In Boost Mobile Orange 918.

Saw the Michael Douglas movie "Falling Down" , there's a 240z in the parking lot of the burger joint that he goes into

I spotted a brief appearance of a 240Z, near the end of Fast and Furious 9.

It looks like cast member Sung Kang's car repainted. I liked it better in white.

Maybe they wrapped it for the movie? Easily reversable

Probably, and all for a two second pan by of a parked car. No expense spared in the movie industry.  If I had squinted I would have missed it.

just like to say that i own the blue 240z hs01920 that was used by hagertys  in the 240z buyers guide on you tube

Not a movie or TV but a car show video.  Couple of Z's.  Might have posted it before.
