[2015] What Did You Do To/with Your Z Today?

Steve.....Your car keeps getting better and better. The spoiler and wheels look great! As does the early bumper.

Thanks, Guy. After I get a scissor lift, I plan on replacing the rear bumper. I figure it will be easier to drop the tank that way.

Got some more paint stripped off of her. Sandblasted some suspension pieces to get ready for powder coating and got the last of the metal for my rotisserie. Cant wait till she is upside down in my garage. Welding time!!

Ordered new wheels, again... Definitely waiting for a test fit before buying rubber this time!

Gave my Datsun a "friend" to share the garage with during the winter! Anyone know what it is?

Really cool car....both of them! What is it? A Jenson, Fiat? I give up.

Ok, probobly extremly rare outside Europe. Rare here to. Its a Lancia Fulvia HF -65 set up for historic rally. 1300cc and dual webers putting out around 140-160 hp.

My Datsun adventure of the day was to figure out why my '71, which has been sitting for a while, was puking gas onto the hot exhaust pipe below the carbs. Looks like I'll be taking the float bowls apart for a thorough cleaning.

I bought some 15x7 Konigs with hankook 205/50-15 that are fantastic on my 240. No rubbing and leaves the car lower to the ground.

Just clean the float valve......if it's dirty, gas will discharge through your air cleaner and onto the floor, hopefully without disastrous results!

Could be a stuck or sunken float. I had a 260Z that had a pin hole in a float and it sunk, leaving fuel puking out the overflow.

Completed changing all my fluids today with the transmission gear oil .  The transmission now has Redline MT90.

Now that I have changed it, I know I'll soon run across a late ZX 5 speed, do the swap, and get to change the gear oil again.
