  1. Past hour
  2. OK, I'll bite. What does "salute you're typo" mean?
  3. This bot is not like the others. The link actually leads to a real business. In Dubai.
  4. "This conversation can serve no purpose anymore." You win this round of Spot The Bot!!
  5. I can't add much to the bolt hunt that isn't already covered, but I just wanted to pop in here quick and salute you're typo.
  6. Today
  7. My daughter used to live in Lacey Washington. I was born in Richland Washington
  8. San Jose CA 95125
  9. eBay70-78 Datsun 240Z 260Z 280Z axle half shaft flange bolt +...USED rear half shaft nut, bolt and washer set for 1970-1978 Datsun 240Z, 260Z and 280Z cars. All are clean and the threads are good.
  10. You want OEM then. The aftermarket bolts won't work for you? It's almost worth buying an old junk 280ZX, they use the same parts but the cars are cheaper. I bought a complete 1978 280Z parts car just for the transmission but ended up with a bunch of other useful parts.
  11. Nissanparts.cc is my local dealer in Olympia, but I always try to look up the part numbers myself. Either with the physical parts book or Carpartsmanual.com @CB Garrett I found 3 bolts so far, I'll have more time to look this weekend.
  12. Totally agree... web vers. in person deanships. You're right the Zecard Depot guys do have the nuts and bolts that I need but by the time I get through with those guys I'm at $225.
  13. Good point I didn't realize my profile was lacking. Anyway, I'll do that now San Jose California
  14. Your profile could be updated to show where you are. Many of us have parts laying around..
  15. I use my local Nissan dealer. Call the parts department and give them the most recent superseded Nissan p/n and they can search nationwide and I for one haven’t paid any shipping costs. Used them multiple times over 5 years.
  16. Roof in really nice shape….a surprise. Frame rails, outer rockers and floors toast ….not a surprise. Firewall, spare tire well and inner fenders are nice..surprise. Tunnel and inner rocker area in great shape, perfect to attach new floors. Have rails, need both floors. I’ve seen gnose cars trim lips off the rear to allow wider/lower tires/suspension. Debating on leaving them trimmed off, or replace entire rear quarters to have the complete outer rear well.
  17. The first picture from the left shows a completed repaired hi- lo beam switch circuit board repair. The next 2 pictures show continuity on both of the hi- lo beam switch closed circuits. In the mail on the way I have a parts turn signal switch with broken hi- lo beam switch circuit board. In the near future I can detail my repair protocol if there is interest out in Datsunland.
  18. Yesterday
  19. I also used an electric knife on my seat foam and it worked just fine.
  20. Thank you. I don't have a website. But I do have a switch with a repaired circuit board that I can shoot close up pix of and detail the repair process so folks at home can attempt the repair themselves. I wouldn't dream of trying to capitalize on something I am passing along for the fun of it. Stay tuned.
  21. You can put your web site link in your sig. Probably help your advertising if you posted a picture of a repaired circuit board. We all like to look at stuff like that. Go to account Settings and Signature and put some stuff in the box. Click Save and it shows up underneath all of your posts.
  22. Man, I should have kept my bucket of bolts from years of salvage yard parts picking. Prices are ridiculous. Forgot to say also that we've all been so trained to go directly to an internet search engine that we've forgotten about the local dealership parts department (no offense intended, I just know that's how I've been retrained). If you get the right guy, someone whose been around a while, they will know how to search nationwide inventory and get it sent. On the other hand, if you get some fresh rookie you'll have to guide them through how to search using a part number. I went through this recently with a different brand of car. Worth a call or two. Courtesy Nissan used to be the go-to place for old Nissan parts but they have faded away. Worthless today, their web site doesn't even work correctly.
  23. Z Car Depot has done a good job if building his parts variety. Looks like they have what you need. Looks like you can spend a bundle by the time you get all of the bolts, washers, and nuts. I'd look around for used if it was mine. The Nissan parts are very durable. Z Car Depot IncAxle Driveshaft Half Shaft Bolt Special 240Z 260Z 280ZAxle Driveshaft Half Shaft Bolt Special 240Z 260Z 280Z New half shaft axle bolt. Will fit Datsun 240Z, 260Z and 280Z, 1970-78. These are bolts for the axle shaft to the outer stub axle at the wheel. T
  24. Here's another site I've used before: https://www.nissanparts.cc/search?search_str=39628-E4100
  25. There isn't a clickable link. NissanPartsDeal.com might be a better choice: https://www.nissanpartsdeal.com/parts/nissan-bolt-driveshaft~39628-e4100.html
  26. Clean the turkey off and cut the seats up. I used one on my boat seats years ago.
  27. I've seen people use an electric knife for cutting foam. I've not tried it, but it looked like it worked well.

  30. Automotive upholster... I think the best tool for cutting foam is a hotwire cutter but that isn't for the faint of heart.
