As I am getting close to wanting wheels. I was looking for tire calculators. Here are some I found in old threads I believe the factory 240z tire was a 195/75R14 https://tire-calc.com/comparison/195-75-r14-and-225-50-r16/ https://tiresize.com/calculator/ https://www.blocklayer.com/tire-size-calculator Let me know if there is another one that should be added Quoted from below "I like this one - though not a calculator, the page has many combinations and hUpdated by Patcon

Backed my 5/72 240Z out of the garage, left rear wheel cylinder leaking. I replaced both in 94, AutoXed till 2016. Need to replace both rear cylinders. Also have a 10/69 RHD Fairlady Z-L, may as well get those too. I've checked RockAuto, same part numbers for both cars. Amazon lists a pair for 240Z, don't know if these wheel cylinders would work for both year cars. Anyone use these from either Company.Added by Fred Sigarto

I wanted to swap out the calipers on my car, it's still a project but i heard that older Nissan Maxima's would work. Just looking for advise, because the original are not an option. Also i will be putting a 350 engine in her with a 700r4 trans. So I will need to be able to stop. Any advice would be very helpful. Thank you.Added by kman79/280zx

Hello All, Just picked up a 260 couple days ago. It came with these 'mystery' wheels and I am trying to figure out what the heck they are. I've searched quite a bit, without any luck. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks, JasonAdded by jason95819

A question I commonly see floating around the internet is whether or not it is possible to daily drive a vintage Z car such as the 240Z, 260Z, 280Z, 280ZX, or 300ZX. Of course daily driving a classic car is definitely possible, but an affirmative answer of “yes, you can daily drive one” certainly comes with some caveats. In this article, I will go over a few things to consider when making this decision — routine and unexpected maintenance, theft prevention, depreciation, and much more, includingAdded by eugene87

There have been several new wheel choices available for our Z cars over the past year, here are a few that I have taken notice of. If you know of any others please post them with your reviews, let's try to make this both fun and educational at the same time! NOTE: These reviews are based on my own opinions. I have set aside all wheel bias and/or brand loyalty. Some of you may say that I have not picked any wheels above a 15" diameter. IMHO an s30 looks best with a 14 and/or 1Updated by Mike

I'm fairly picky about vintage calipers and how they should be treated, especially with some 40 years on the clock. I'll show what I think is right... it's not really that much beyond a standard rebuild once your in there. I'm fairly new to the site so I'm not sure if image tags will work etc. so bare with me as I figure it out. Looks like image tags aren't the answer. I'll include some pictures of the start. I think I'll make them a tad smaller so they don't take up so much room on thUpdated by Mike

I had done some searching for emergency brake repairs and where to go from here. I had a broken parking brake on a 240z. I took the idea that Beandip had and went with that. I went to Home Depot and bought about 8' of 1/8" unjacketed and 3/32 jacketed cable. I also bought some 1/" tee nuts like these The problem I saw was not replacing the cable but was how to swage the end with the little cylindrical shape and make it hold. I removed the old cable and rethreaded with new cable.Updated by Mike
