  2. the sleves are the metal things that go inside the polyurethane bushings that the tension rod goes through. so basically, when you bolt up the TC rods, there will be metal touching the metal of the TC rod, and the bushings will be surrounding the bushings

  10. BUMP to seek more local parts; and also to add some more ports to the list i'm also looking for a 280Z clutch collar (to work with my centerforce II clutch) and a 280ZX alternator
  11. my car hasn't been running in 9 months. it's getting a full overhaul right now. i don't know about 14"s; but i think it fits most 14s. it fits 15s and 16s easy.

  16. if you run a higher compression, you get better fuel economy. at least that's what my dad told me years ago....

Cleaner lines from removal of side marker lamps and replacing with welded plates of original Datsun steel. ENGINE: 3.1 Litre “Stroker”, balanced and blueprinted @ 9.6:1 c/r Block – 1977 280Z 2.8L, bored .2 over to 8.8cm, deck shaved by .75mm. Crankshaft – LD28 (diesel). Provides 4mm of additional stroke. Rods – L24 with 9mm bolts. Pistons – LZ22E+1 with factory dishing. Head – N42 with chambers and ports individually hand shaped, matched, and polished to maximize volumetric efficiency.   24. ya, i took my torque wrench to those calipers and it was STILL hella tight. but ya, FULLY LOADED, pristine condition. if my wife wasn't buggin me to hurry so we could leave i'd post pics
