  1. cool,, thanks for the tip! good luck on the sale!
  2. wow, looks to be in very clean, workable condition!
  3. i think i saw a little bit o' rust on the battery tray..... but otherwise, if there is minimal rust and the frame is solid (i guess the 2 are related....) GO FOR IT! sounds like not too shabby a price, especially with the triples....
  4. the fuel lines go to the nipples on the banjo fittings. the only vacuum lines that i have hooked up are the ones to the float bowls, the one to the brakes, the vacuum advance line, and the block vent hose thing (not the PCV, although it will be hooked up soon) as for the linkage you can get them from Ztherapy.
  5. not mine, but here's the link http://sandiego.craigslist.org/pts/351436060.html
  6. haha, got it. when i get off work around 3.30 i will be heading home to the car. i will not have internet access, however (except for my cell phone), so do you have a cell number i can text you at? if you do, PM me
  7. i'll take a look this afternoon when i crawl under the car. RIP your bimmer.... today?

hate to tell ya mike, but that pole wasn't in the picture
  11. ^arne hit the nail on the head (as far as what i would recommend)
  12. 73 is smog exempt. you do not need the smog holes (it looks like yours were filled anyway) there have been clearance issues with the 3-2 header and SU intake manifold in the past. not sure if it's fixed, but just something to watch out for
  13. welcome! let's see some pics!

  15. the women's restroom in souplantation has garbanzo beans in it. i found out when i walked in on accident and saw a chick pea.
  16. posted a question over on hybridz looking for pad replacement options for the toyota 4x4 caliper upgrade. from what i gather, porterfields seem to be the best available setup specifically for those calipers. HOWEVER, i did get this reply: "you can use pads from a Nissan 180SX or 200SX with very little mods all so the pads from a WRX will fit so you can get Performance pads to suit and they will go into Hilux 4x4 caliber" can anyone confirm/deny this? this opens up a whole new world of performance if this is true....
  17. not to hijack your thread, but what is the part number for those EBC greens?
  18. if you go to autozone or another similar place you can buy fusible link wire. it's different than regular wire because it will "blow" like a fuse oh, and no problem
  19. IIRC on the passenger side front fenderwell.
  20. could it be a fusible link? i'm not too keen on the 280Zs or whether the fusible links have any connection with the headlights, but that's the only thing i can think of.

welcome (albeit a bit late )! anyway, ghlad to see that the rust was only surface rust. i hate FeO2! do you plan on stripping to bare metal or are you going to be using POR-15 products, etc?
  22. ^agreed with carl. take the brakes apart, put some of that red disc brake anti-squeal compuund all over the backs of the pads, and reassemble
  23. unless it's a typo, he said that the guy quoted him $500. WELL worth it, IMO
