Ok Victor you get a 10/10 especially since it's daily driven. I hope in the next couple of years I can make it to America for a Z show now that would be cool. Then i can pose for some photos

Dashpot Piston Lifting Confusion: Re Tuning Methods
Thank you for posting that anyway helps me as I always forget myself. I have a Unisyn for tuning the airflow now so I will give that a try I've been doing it all by feel so far. I might invest in a colortune kit also but so far so good. Gav,

Front End Rebuff
That's because he edited the photo in paint. You will need to obtain a second set from a wrecker and modify them by cutting the centre section and welding the ends where the grille part was to suit the inside brackets. If that makes sense. FWIW I don't think it's a great modification one tap at the front while parked and you will need a new bonnet and straight non rusted non vented ones are hard to find in Australia. I also think there is too much open space but it's just my opinion and experience from having someone hit my car with the bumper on twice. I am also installing my rear bumper again, to avoid costly $$$ back end problems. Rechroming existing bumpers makes a huge difference. The car looks alot more complete and it's better protected. If you do still go ahead you will want to make a custom grille to fill the lower gap. Gav,

Cam Choice
As Beandip says spend the money on a rear end swap. You want a 3.9 or 4.11 if you can get one. That will help you accelerate alot quicker. You could also have a poor ratio gearbox, unfortunately I only know which years of Z in Australia containted the good ratio boxes and diff's. The good gbox here has a 2.9 first gear. The other reason for lag could be fuel starvation, I know a friend who had this problem with his 260z the electric pump would do fine for 1,2 gears but 3rd it starved. I found a 240z flywheel which was lightened and a 240z harmonic balancer(lower front pulley) was a good upgrade on my car , engine revved quicker and felt happier only downside is the engine revs drop alot quicker when you let off the gas. I would spend your money on getting your car in good tune first see how it's going then decide. I wanna put a larger cam in my motor also but I am unsure of how much streetability it will take from my car. Research first before spending your money. FWIW I just bought a set of Toyota 4 Piston calipers in preperation for going faster . Gav,

S12W and Wheel Spacer?
I bought a set they look like there good the seals are in good condition etc... But they are pretty heavy i wouldn't say too much more than original I'll compare better when i can get both in each hand. I also got information on the Peugeot Discs I can run with them and apparently there pretty cheap so look forward to improved braking results. They are the S12W aswell so I will post here when i get them working with the standard discs(rotors). :classic:

S12W and Wheel Spacer?
I have been told by the seller who owns a Z wrecker here that they should bolt right on. He has the same 15" wheels as I the Superlites and he assures me they will work. I will double check when i get there anyway.. Gav,

S12W and Wheel Spacer?
I have a question i have been scouring the threads for. I'm about to get a set of Toyota S12W 4 Pot Calipers. I do not have vented rotors or discs, I do have 15" rims, my main query is getting the 4 pots to work with the standard disc anyone see any problems? I have been told it should work fine. I will probably still buy them anyway as I've driven a car with them fitted and liked the improvement. PS: on the cosmetic side I want to paint them red :cheeky: any tips on the paint to use I was thinking engine enamel?
