  1. I was gonna try them on the solid discs but I wouldn't mind giving them a shot see if they fit at some stage and when i get the cash together even buy them. Will talk to you soon about it.
  2. I've got 15" wheels so it won't be a problem.... Gav
  3. I bought a set they look like there good the seals are in good condition etc... But they are pretty heavy i wouldn't say too much more than original I'll compare better when i can get both in each hand. I also got information on the Peugeot Discs I can run with them and apparently there pretty cheap so look forward to improved braking results. They are the S12W aswell so I will post here when i get them working with the standard discs(rotors). :classic:
  4. Zworx $99 each Waz is looking after me I think.
  5. Yeah guilty if you saw me crossing warrigal road i think i was going at it as Ford man next to me was giving me the shits earlier and sitting right up my arse . I thought i'd give him new ears . I have a few pics going thru my archives.
  6. I have been told by the seller who owns a Z wrecker here that they should bolt right on. He has the same 15" wheels as I the Superlites and he assures me they will work. I will double check when i get there anyway.. Gav,
  7. I have a question i have been scouring the threads for. I'm about to get a set of Toyota S12W 4 Pot Calipers. I do not have vented rotors or discs, I do have 15" rims, my main query is getting the 4 pots to work with the standard disc anyone see any problems? I have been told it should work fine. I will probably still buy them anyway as I've driven a car with them fitted and liked the improvement. PS: on the cosmetic side I want to paint them red :cheeky: any tips on the paint to use I was thinking engine enamel?
  8. http://www.viczcar.com/Images/Meet1/pages/ZgFlare3.htm this is a pic of what he is taking the mould from. Sorry it's the only pic we have uploaded on VicZcar I might have more on my HD. Will look if you want Ashley?

  13. AFR would be a measure of Air and Fuel for my guess. AFR if i had to guess stands for Air Fuel Ratio. I have been intending to get a set of SM needles and the video etc.. for my car. However what I'm really interested in is a rebuild kit that includes all the ZTherapy goodies like the shafts that use a ball bearing to reduce wear around the shaft. However I get confused easy with the whole deal, I would send mine over but the cost to send my cores and buy a set there is just out of my budget and besides I'd get more satisfaction from rebuilding them myself. Let me know what you wanna do Richard as I would like to get some myself (SM needles) Perhaps the bigger nozzles as well. We could order them together and perhaps save on shipping or whatever. I also know a guy here in Melbourne who knows what he is doing with SU's and is running them on his Stroked L28. I can get you in contact with him. Now that I'm on holidays I have some work planned for the car.. PS: I run out of puff around 5500rpm but i'm unsure as to what the problem is just yet. I also hear that remapping the distributor is a must with a larger camshaft profile. Gav

My sentiments exactly my insurance company has no idea about the L28 on my car or the bigger valves, cam , electronic ignition. There's just no point telling them, they will charge you more and i doubt for a second anyone would know who isn't into Z's or Datsun's. L24 L28 it just looks like another engine number. I only told them the obvious the wheels and exhaust. Vic roads wouldn't know any better either.
  15. I have a set of 240z carbs Hitachi original equipment. Actually I have 3 sets of carbs 1 on my 240z, a set of British SU's and a spare set of 240z carbs. I don't know how much shipping for such an item would be (LD28 crank) but from America i was looking at $300-$400 just in shipping .... If you get your hands on an LD28 crank cheap maybe we could work something out
  16. What i was getting at was for your application like a standard L24 engine. The DUAL SU's would be quite addequite unless you plan on doing some engine work i don't think you'd really notice much of a performance difference but then agian I've never tried it just read the theory. Gav

must only work in America either that or the windows calculator has disagreed with me once more!. Hehe I can see the last few digits are the same but that's it.
  18. Nope you shouldn't under estimate it at all. I've seen alot of good things from the L-Series and I just love em'. I think Dual SU's would be all you want you don't wanna over-carb your motor.
  19. New Zealand is so pretty. Makes me wanna take the Z there for a nice drive. Looks like it would have been fun , you seemed to keep up pretty well in the K have you done anything to your motor or is it the combo of L24 and camera lag that makes it look like you guys are going really fast .... I'm sure you had fun anyway!
