Spirit Garage
I really would not know I have seen this Z before on a Japanese site. It looks almost custom made but those flares are familiar. I can see the S30 Z mesh grille. The rest of the car however is a mystery to me. Sorry.

Air dams...front spoilers
I am not sure exactly what spoiler it is but I'd say it was a factory optional one most likely Japanese home market. I too like the little struts. Maybe you could PM Eric?

Intake Manifolds.
First off thanks for the reply. Webbers would be really nice but unfortunately I drive the car daily and fuel consumption would be very high and traffic driving is no fun. I expect Webbers to use more than the SU's. I don't quite follow what you mean by carbing up a P75 manifold? Do you mean the P75 is a fuel injections manifold if so how do you attach carbs to it??? Sorry if this is a silly question but this area is all new to me. Fuel injection is a bit complex for now and I'm not ready to commit that kind of money just yet. I still have to pay off the car. The N36 was just lying in the garage so I thought I could slap it on anytime kinda thing. I can see myself going Turbo Injection when I have sorted out everything else with the car ie: rusted inner doors. First things first and I'd probably go a wild Cam with webbers before injected turbo.

Power Steering?
I totally agree with you smokey. However it's is possible a couple of members have done it I've heard of using the ZX unit or Cuong Nguyen used a WRX steering rack. PM him about it. PS: I don't think I'd ever do it.

Potential & Low VIN!!
If he couldn't be bothered finishing his primer job what makes u think he could be bothered finishing his botch job on the vin number??? :classic:. In Australia we didn't get the Vin in the dash we just got it on the firewall and on the compliance plate. It is sneaky that he's not shown a close up clear photo of the vin #. Most people show that if they mention it in the add. It's good that Carl is watching out for these things however there's alot of people who will BS to you without even blinking. If it was in Australia I'd be willing to take a look .

Donnie Darko
Well I work in a video shop so I know the movie haven't seen it yet but the general customer feedback is they don't like it. It does seem to be quite popular. However I won't judge it till I see it and since most people don't like to think maybe it's worth a watch afterall. I can't believe you've watched it so much. If you were a member at my video shop it would only cost you $2.50 per hire. :classic: I agree with a general wasteland non car related chat area :classic: . Seeing as some of us make posts about midnight snacks with Peanut butter  "Cough , Mike" .

Jan-Einar Krakevik's Ride
That air dam is a custom made item by the owner himself. I remember seeing his website I think he lives in Switzerland or Sweden or somewhere like that. Can't remember going by memory here.

Well that's what E-bay is all about it's an Auction site and he will only get $700 if someone is willing to pay that. So we can let the "average fools" buy it.

CCW wheels
I love those wheels look like the ones used on Tod Kaneko's 240z http://www.lancut.com.pl/priv/emc/features/'70s_late_'60s_vehicles/ There's a gallery for bigger images at the bottom.

It may be expensive but it sure looks nice. Not that I'd buy it wouldn't have the money personally. Especially since it's in US dollars conversion rate would kill me.:classic:

the legal kind of lsd.
It's good to have you along MIke C. You seem like a well informed individual in the diff area anyway. An area where I'm still a little vague. I understand the difference between R-180 and R-200. I also know early 240z's had the diff set forward a bit more and as a result it wore them out quicker due to vibrations. The LSD is where I start to get lost. I don't understand how u make an open diff LSD. Could you please clarify what you change to make it LSD? Also here in Aus we do have some of the Z31 Turbos and Z32 Turbo's but which one can we use? Is it the Z31 that had the finned cover? We never got a 280zx turbo does this make parts harder? You mention that Kaaz and a couple of other companies make a LSD kit for a R200 so if you have a standard R200 open diff do you not need to go get Z31 or Z32 donor parts? Thanks for your time. :classic:
