I LOVE the look of those seats.....I've never seen them on E-bay. would those be cost efficient to a new set of stock seats? If I was racing or street driving I would the above posted seats. -Brandon

Hello all, new to website
Welcome to the club. Stick around and search the site. There are many very knowledgeable people. I'm sure one of us can answer any questions you might have. Most of us own a first gen Z (240Z/260Z/280Z). Some own a daily driver 300ZX. Back in the 80's and early 90's my dad drove an 86 300ZX turbo. I know small bits and pieces, since I was the one who did the oil changes and general up-keep. -Brandon

getting a title with a bill of sale
I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM I bought a car out of Georgia without a tittle since in Georgia old cars don't need them MY PROBLEM. Is I live in Florida. The car has been sitting 4 years now, runs looks good needs some help. I would love to have it as a daily driver. In lack of knowledge of getting a Florida title I'm being forced to part it out. P. S- In Florida ownership of and automobile is based on a correct state title. If no title for the car it's a parts car and can only be sold as a parts car. Pretty sad...... -Brandon Help needed.

Vintage License Plates
TomoHawk- The big thing is would the plate be visible for the cops. Cops camars, all the other crap they try to get us with. As long as the paint is good everything should be fine. Bambikiller240- You probablly could have one restored without a problem. Just keep it looking like it would from 30,40 years ago. Paint techlnogy has changed.

Vintage License Plates
In Florida You are not allowed to repaint the plates. They must be original good looking. No rust, paint must be visible at night. Guy who I bought my Zed sent his tag off to be refinished and repainted. Looked Brand-new. The DMV (department of motor vehicles) told him his plate was Illegal. I bought a (old) brand-new plate at the local flea market. He was an old man who knew boochoos. I didn't see 70 or 71 plates out on display. I asked if there was a place where I could get one. He went to the back pulled out a box. flipped through several plates. Pulled out the 71's handed one to me. I unwrapped it from it's paper wrapping and could see my finger prints in the bright sunshine. I told the man this one is mine. $20 couldn't have been spent better. He also shoed me how Florida switched from University of Florida colors (orange) and then Florida State colors. I don't remember exactly what two years though. -Brandon 1971 240Z

Other Datsuns Section
I don't think we should make any changes. I enjoy the posts that come up. The only change you could make is in the forms section. once someone has posted a thread I think the moderators should place them in a "other Datsun makes" section. I would defiantly surf that forum from time to time. I wouldn't bother going to a sperate website though. I stick around ClassicZcars and the 240Z.org mailing list. -Brandon 71 240Z 81&84 720 Truck

Front License Plate Mount
.....Here in Florida The plates are your Personal Plates. Personal Property of the owner unlike other states where the plates go with the car. We only have rear plates. I run an extra old 1970-1971 tag upfront. with a Really nice 1971 tag in the back. Here in Florida in the 70's they gave you a new "Blue" tag each year. If your car is 30+ years you are able to buy one of those old tags and register it to your car. They are very good looking tags. I Paid $20 about 4 years ago at the local Fle-market. Had a good convo with the vender about old tags. The man Really knew his stuff. -Brandon 1971 240Z Puriest

I got it from Dad too. When I was little my dad had a lime Green 1972 240Z. Got hard up for money and sold it. I was 10 at the time. 4 years down the road I open up the news paper. See an Ad for a 1971 240Z for S300. pops goes to the house turns out it's the same guy he sold the lime Green 72 Z too. They had a long convo. Shows me the Zed for sale. Rust Free orange 1971 240-Z in the garage. From then history was made. I currently own 3 1971 240Z's along with a 1970. -Brandon

Isn't this enough to cause nightmares...
My parents said it's really inhumane to feed the snake dogs. At first they thought it was a prank.
