7-10 quart comp/race oil pan
Hey Doc, Are you using and Accusump for back up oil pressure and volume ?? Unless you are good at welding and fabrication you are almost stuck paying the big bucks for a competition pan. I think $300 is the cheapest I have seen a new one so far. Hopefully a used one comes your way. What size tires and wheels are your running on your car ?? Mike Zdriver.com

How many Z forums do you participate in?
Mike leave it up like it is. I see a grea wealth of information coming from the comments from your Members. The poll really doesn't let you know why people frequent some sites. It will also aid my in changing our forums a bit to fill the gap between this and other Z sites. I hope people feel that each different Z site compliments each other with a litte to offer for each of you. Its is great to see why people choose ClassicZcars.com as theirs. Again , great work !!

How many Z forums do you participate in?
Since I am the Admin over at Zdriver.com ,and the racing board is my baby over there then I am biased a bit I come here a lot to chat with 2ManyZ's and check out some of the posts. I also visit HybridZ . I rarely go to Zcar.com . I appreciate the hard work Mike And Keith do over here , and have to say this is one of the best organized sites. Keep it up Mike !!!

Bushing Kits..
Mperdue, I really like your thinking ! Lets save a few dollars buying from a non Z Car supporter . StrictlyZ puts on car shows and generally helps the Z car community Kyle has provided a free web site " Zdriver.com" for years . If we all stopped buying from out Vendors in order to save 5 to 10 dollars then eventually they would go away. I am very biased about buying from Z vendors. For one thing Kyle has helped me with some stuff ., and I help him out when he needs something. I am not trying to start a flame war. Just trying to let people know that Nissan is not making the parts we were used to getting and that our vendors will have to pick up the slack. Take Care, Mike

Dr Sideways ?
Britt, Email me at roadsterx@hotmail.com . We have been gathering information for an F Prepared car here in the Spokane , Wa area. I also have been in contact with a GT2 280 racer in you area.
-
Dr Sideways ?
Britt, That car has been competing already . The pictures on that web site are of him building it. Mike had pictures on the original web site of the car done. He has one in the racing album of the car at a autocross. Here is a link to Tom Holts web site he also runs in E Prepared and is running the 16" x 10" wheel package.
-
Dr Sideways ?
Britt, Track is measured from the wheel backing plate and not from the tire or wheel outside dimensions. They are limited to what wheel width the rules allow though . Can't remember , but I believe it is 10" max wheel width in E Prepared.
-
Dr Sideways ?
Britt, I believe it is a E Prepared autocross car.

Dr Sideways ?
Thanks Phred !! My friend is working on an F Prepared car, and I am helping him gather information on what others have done.
-
Dr Sideways ?
Mike, You use to have more pics of that car on the old site. Do you still have them, and do we have access to the links ? Any contact information on the guy ? I can't remember the guys real name.

how do i go fast??!!?!?!?
Johns numbers on his list are pretty darn accurate, and the best thing is when you get to the end of that 1/4 mile you can turn I have a list pretty much like what John has listed , and when my financial situation improves I will be doing pretty much what he suggests. I have driven high horsepower cars that can't turn and they aren't much fun.

Racing, are they any good?
The US 260 is different then the Euro Spec 260. They didn't get the huge bumpers , so their weight is lower then the US spec late 260 with its huge bumpers and flat top SU's.
-
Tires??
I know a few guys who run them in the SCCA STS street tire class. The bad thing is they come in the skinny 195/60/14 size for the 14" rim..
-
Tires??
I looked into those also. They have tires in the 14" sizes . let us know how you like them .
-
I want one of these!!!!!
Yup, Thats what I have heard also. US Spec will be the Supercharged V6 Grand Prix engine. All the reports I ahve heard from Australia say this car is junk. We discussed this same car over on Zdriver.com about a month ago.
