260Z 2+2 Perth $$$$$$
I just wish that the market value would wait a few more years before it goes through the roof ...

Bluebird 5 Speed
Thanks Gavin, I didn't really understand how many gearboxes you have where and who owns them but I'll just stay quiet and wait for you to let me know! Gareth, you have a PM...

Loose Sunvisor
I would have tried to be more specific but I only have a vague memory of what it all looks like.

OT: BMW design question...
Here ya go, BMW M-Coupe and for good measure BMW Z4
-
Loose Sunvisor
If they're the stock items, there should be a screw in them on the outside corner where they are attached to the roof. Tighten this up and your visor will get stiffer.

I Thought All 240Z's had a Single Key
Yep, that's it. Interestingly my car also has two keys only the ignition one is much more modern-looking, with a plastic bit around the bit you hold (I'm sure it has a name). Looks great!

Stupid but funny cars
Just wanted to point out that that station wagon Ferrari 456 GT is not a kit, Ferrari made a few of them for special customers, the Sultan of Brunei being one customer who has 2 of them I think. You should see the rear end, mmmmm sexy Ferrari wagon..

What are these for?
Nice one! Here's a question to throw in, there are two little rectangular bits of metal/plastic about half way up either side of the inside of the hatch, right next to the water sealing rubber. They seem to serve no purpose, but why are they there? *I can't post a picture for obvious reasons*

What is the story on this
Hi As an owner of a single carb "Skyline" I can tell you that that air filter case isn't from my car (see attached picture). Now I'm not sure if they changed the design of the air filter at any stage during the C110's life, but I wouldn't have thought so. Like Alan said, it could be from a Gloria or a Cedric or something. In my opinion it wasn't from a C110 Skyline. Whatever it is, it's not that special anyway! Oh wait, yes it is, do you want to swap your dual SU's for my special single carb unit? very special ya know...

! Pass the parcel! Thanks for your support guys it's great... Alan, where is Dandenong? Gareth, do you know what kind of condition this gearbox is in? (would hate to ask you guys to go out of your way only to get a gearbox that needs a full rebuild...) It just amazes me how supportive this place is...

Mate, like Alan said, this is kats' topic, if you want to continue can you just please start a new thread? I really enjoy listening in to your two (very different) views on the matter but I dont think this is the right place.

BRAIN OVERLOAD! There is sooo much new precious information in this topic, I'm going to have to read it over again to make sure I remember it all, you are a very determined man Kats, and I think you have a bit of luck going for you too!!! You must be so proud and honoured to have met all of those men! Thank you so incredibly much for your input, I for one am infatuated with history and history of the Z car is even more exciting! What the best part about this is that the information is so hard to come by, that even after 30 years NEW information is coming out (for example the steering wheel! Do you know how many people have been confused by this?!). Thank you again kats

Stripping a Z

9 Things I hate about YOU! (caution foul language)
Rick being serious? Sometimes swearing can ruin a joke, and this is a good example. Number two was very funny, but three just became a little offensive. But as Enrique said, it's a part of the 'humour'... And I'd just like to say 'fart' was a swear word to me until a few years ago tanny, and it was as much as Chris could do to warn everyone about the topic. I think we should be thanking him rather than anything else....... And hey, some of those were even funny
