You won't be simplifying things with a frankenharness unless you are really good with electrical circuits.

When you took out the fuel injection wiring, you removed the circuit to power the fuel pump. Search on this site for wiring an electric fuel pump. Be sure to put an inertia switch in the circuit to prevent you from becoming Justin flambe.

I don't like driving in Atlanta, either. We selected the hotel because traveling to track day, autocross and mountain drives will be the opposite direction of traffic. It's Southern hospitality, sir. We take care of our guests. By the way, let's get the maximum number of Steve's that we can recruit for ZCON 2018.
