I’m curious what octane level they have there at Buckees. It’s quite a place it’s like the old Stuckeys back in the day on steroids. The food and bakery is amazing.

There are additives out there if you do the research. Carbs definitely don’t do well with ethanol.

My two cents here, @inline6 You have spent a lot of money and time on building the LSD. What would the cost factor be to take it to a specialist and have them dial it in versus the risk factor moving forward. I applaud you for the effort and research trying to find the parts to dial it in. I realize companies that specialize in this area are hard to find. I’m rooting for you friend, this is a tough one.

Did they make different panels for the 78 model?

The Auto shifter holes mounting are different on two positions. I believe I had to add two mounting locations for the trim plate towards the rear of the console. You may or may not have to enlarge the tunnel. The original manual trans dimples were there and just hard to drill and affix fasteners.

Mine is a 280 of course and there weren’t any differences when I ordered a new console from Nissan when I made the conversion.

Wondering now after my first post how much goes into play of the coating once the headers have been installed and running. Meaning how does it adhere to dirt and exhaust soot. Possibly more expense involved trying to bring them back.

Mine were reasonable $425 for header & collector.
