  3. Can you only imagine how jacked up that would be trying to align the drive train.
  4. Go to their website if you haven’t already. I’ve used them and it is ceramic coating. They have a great video. Good People.
  5. IMO I don’t think so. Others will chime in. Pressure doesn’t change under load. I think you have issues you haven’t looked into yet.
  6. There is no load on the engine
  7. Not sure of the correlation between your transmission and fuel pressure for what you’re experiencing
  8. Cheaper to ship it also. I’d go with a replacement unit and be done IMO
  9. Was there a spacer in the hub along with the bearing? They are stamped a,b, or c according to the thickness.

That’s exactly what everyone needs to do.
  11. IMHO, That is not a good idea moving forward. You won’t be able to access all points of concern if it’s not on the bench. I personally have gone through a couple of the “B” series and access is critical. You’re already half way there removing the shaft. Not to mention you’re going to have to rotate the tail shaft back and forth to remove and install. Personally I wouldn’t do it in the car. My 2cents.
  12. What’s the problem you’re having?

Personally on my 78 280, If I rested those stands there it would not be pretty. I rest my stands on the very front of the rail at the weld joint.

$25,500 For instance, Less fees. Not a chance IMHO. Sell it privately to someone that’s going to preserve it.

Where did you take the alternator to be tested? If you don’t have someone at a parts store that’s competent on testing you might want to go to a local Napa store or an establishment that has a machine shop. Counter people look at a screen and most don’t have experience on working on vehicles. My HO. Ok I vented. Wish luck friend.

By chance did you try a cleaner and spray able grease before you removed it. Trying to understand the process you went with.

Fortunate to find an early antenna with the bullet tip. The Nut wasn’t available. Any help will be much appreciated.

  25. Did you have the headers Ceramic coated? I understand that’s not the issue at hand but will eliminate carb problems.
