  1. Thanks Bruce for the clever trick of using rubber around an SU needle to gently hold it in a vise to remove (when stuck)!!! Worked like a charm... I just used the fuel hose as the rubber buffer. @Captain Obvious
  2. Looks nice on a silver car!
  3. I have a gentler Schneider NOS if interested in a trade. I'll post specs tomorrow.
  4. Good luck! I heard of some people stacking two together. It may need more research. You may wish to check side of head and manifold surfaces for bumps that could prevent sealing as well as flatness.

  9. I thought it was 1.7mm .... getting too old.
  10. FYI I am rebuilding round top SU's with Hitachi needle valves stamped 2.0. I guess they are not original size but the carbs did seem untouched.
  11. Does you caliper have a machined step (see arrow) on the other side of the red ear below?

  19. Sat outside for past 11 years. Last time I ran it was on a track. It has always been a test mule so it has become an experiment in rust Here it is yesterday. Resuscitation is underway : \ \ \
  20. I love Eiji's car!!
  21. Looking for a set of wide wheel spacers.
  22. LOL, nope, I plan to keep it real (ugly) but comfortable. I have BMW leather seats and plan to super sound-proof the interior. AC too...that should keep her happy. Hopefully I'll have time to build an 88mm pistoned 2.9litre with triple SK's and a low ratio differential to keep the rpm's down on the highway. Right now I plan to get SU's on the existing small chambered L28 to work out the bugs. For exterior a Gnoze spoiler ZG flares and lourvre. It will be a rat rod but comfy.
  23. Power washed the paint off the rust on old blue two days ago. Today I removed the EFI system and harness. Tomorrow I hope to get SUs installed along with a fuel pressure regulator. Hopefully blue will make it to Atlanta and win the ugliest car award ?
