72 Air Cleaner Fasteners
I kind of figured someone would have some laying around. I thought I did but I believe the ones I have were for a roadster and are different.

Anyone here drive thier Z during the Winter ?
I'm also in SoCal. I'll drive my Z (and my truck) year round but I won't drive them in rain or snow. Where I live it snows very rarely like once every four or five years, so snow isn't a problem. If it's raining, I'll drive the 810.

72 Air Cleaner Fasteners
They're on the Z car microfiche cd. Then I run them through the search on NissanParts.cc to see if they're still valid. That doesn't mean that they're still available just that they're still in the system.

72 Air Cleaner Fasteners
Don't know if they're still available but they still show as good part numbers. 16516-E3210 is the bolt itself and 16516-S0900 is the bolt with the packing.

Look at my z240k
Yes, you'll have to tell us more about that one!

Part # for 240Z windshield??
I had a new windshield installed on my 810 a few months ago. If you think a windshield for an S30 is difficult to find, try an 810 coupe. It's unique to the coupe and the sedan/station wagon windshield won't fit. JMO but profesionnal installation is the only way to go. Considering how long it took to find that one I surely wouldn't want to have to find another one because I broke it trying to install it myself.

Current Options for Rear Window Demisting?
JMO but why not just replace the window while they're still available? Much less hassle. Like I said, I did that ten years ago and mine still works fine.

Hurry up and bid on this Ebay Gem!
All three of those cars sold for signifigantly less than the 260z's BIN. In fact, the Mazda sold for an offer that was about $2K less than it's BIN.

240Z to be on Car Crazy TV
I can record it in HD but I still wouldn't know what to do change it to something that would work on this site. Oh well, I've got a couple of weeks to figure it out.

Current Options for Rear Window Demisting?
Is what going to match the paint? I replaced mine ten years ago and it still works fine.

Current Options for Rear Window Demisting?
I just got off the phone with Russ at NissanParts.cc. He says that they're still available! 90301-E8800 is the part number and it's $247.22 + $29.67 shipping. That's less than I paid, or actually, Allstate paid for the windshield for my 810 coupe.

Current Options for Rear Window Demisting?
Replace the rear window. That's what I did however I did it in 1997. I don't know if you can still find one or how much it would cost nowdays.

'76 Laurel on EBay
Here's a quote from another site about the price. I don't think he'd mind since he publically posted it on that site.

240Z to be on Car Crazy TV
I can record it to DVD but I don't know how to convert that to something that would work here. What format would it have to be?

warped head. should i fix???
Your are correct, DaveN. I sometimes get ahead of myself. I'm more proficient at doing than explaining. My suggestion of course assumes that the cam bearings pass the alignment test.

240Z to be on Car Crazy TV
I just realized after looking through my pictures that the one in the background is Leno's. The one I pictured is the one that Mazda brought to the show.

You could also use a 2mm gasket to compensate for the cut. That would also bring you c.r. back to somewhere close to stock. .024" is roughly 4 times the acceptable out of flat measurement. That will raise your c.r. a little more than you think. There shouldn't be any chain tension issues as the tensioner itself will compensate.
