  1. Thank you guys, that's what I'll do for now.
  2. Good "supplies" work wonders. A friend of mine bought one of these a couple of weeks ago. He was at a bike rally where it rained the whole time. He decided to set the camper off onto it's legs and drive his truck out from under it to go play. When he got back the camper had fallen over onto his shade tree. Insurance totaled it and paid him off, luckily. Too many "supplies" and not enough sense.
  3. I'd trust a foot of 5/16" hose and some solid fuel injection clamps until I restore the car.
  4. That's what he's staying in, the burnt camper, not the Memphis Hilton. :: :: :: :: :: :: :: ::
  5. A little high but they have cheaper ones too. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/classic08e02a01/40-2980
  6. Can I splice that section in or do I have to do the whole thing? It's a nice shade of green/grey everywhere else. Thanks, Cliff
  7. Well I'm thinking of a POR-15 product to seal this section, any other ideas besides new a line?
  8. Do the numbers on the very top's flat spot mean anything like a VIN number? The higher the number, the newer the transmission? I'm taking two to my transmission friend for him to look inside and tell me which one to use so it's more of a curiosity thing to me. The highest number The other one 4spd far left, highest 5spd then lower number 5spd far right Thanks for any replies, Cliff
  9. My '72 240s have the yellow 1 piece wheel chocks. '77 280 has orange collapsible ones.
  10. Nice pictures give me inspiration. Your pictures make me jealous. : )

  17. Damn! What a beautiful car. More pictures are needed to try and figure out your problem.
  18. Yes, I believes your coil could be a quart low. Smiley face. Get one of those smart kids with good eyes to click MORE REPLY OPTIONS at the bottom of your post. Then CHOOSE FILE Then ATTACH FILE
  19. I messed up! The vent from the tank is the middle backside. One top hose goes to air filter housing, bottom hose goes to pcv tube. Sorry for the late EDIT
  20. A white background would be nice if you have that option.
  21. I think Madkaw is saying you can remove the fuel gauge sending unit in the tank and snap some pictures. See the crud line on my old one.
  22. We all get caught up in the moment and make mistakes but if you're helping someone, who cares. For me, it's mostly alcohol related. I think I'll put the Edited Box in my signature.
  23. Maybe you can get it running and the brake drums will free up. Mine did. I got mine running off a small gas can after it had sat for years. The gas tank was full of crud. Good luck and happy wrenching on your old friend. Cliff
