  1. O'Reilly's has low pressure fuel hose pretty cheap. That's who had the 5/8" for the top 180 vent hose I used.

  7. Strongly agree with Ferg! A good ZX motor will be great in whichnever you chose.
  8. Sale the Nikki and add an electric pump to your mechanical one. @Jarvo2 has a good write up on this. I hope to do mine soon.
  9. The remans are hit and miss from what I've read. Mine works perfect from amazon.com for a '79 ZX with a Pertronix 1.5 ohm Flamethrower coil. About 3 years now? There's a cool spreadsheet someone made that's on my laptop and of course I'm using my phone. Google "distributor excel spreadsheet classiczcars.com". Good luck.
  10. The on top looks OE to me. Here's mine that's definitely OE.

  13. If this is what you are speaking of, from what I remember. Fast woman found one on ebay for a diesel, "sam the dieselman"
  14. My experiences with the straight 6 L motors, the 2.8 is easier and cheaper to rebuild. A 2.4 will be harder to get parts for and you'll pay higher prices. My $.02 after building both within a couple of years of each other.
  15. Someone closer will get it. People can hardly sale cylinder heads because of shipping. I'd get if I were nearby. Good luck.

It's an alternate spelling. Baulky/ balky, refusing to go. I've always heard about horses and cows being balky. Maybe a girl or two. Here you go... balk·y Dictionary result for balky /ˈbôkē/ adjective US adjective: baulky reluctant; uncooperative. "he was trying to get his balky horse to move"
  18. I got chill bumps when he came up on that bike to his left before going into a right turn. That guy is the best, most courteous driver I've ever seen. I only heard that car sputter one time on a long straight. I think he floated the valves!
