  1. Yeah what he said........ A fast car that has been thought out is NOT rice. Especially the 500hp Neon SRT-4 vid i saw the other day, definitely not rice. Still not my cup of tea though. That ebay auction hits the definition of Rice perfectly.
  2. In the galleries there are plenty of custom interiors just gotta hunt them out. Check out the MSA events in the galleries they have lots!!
  3. Yeah the aerodynamics really kill it off
  4. Found the thread. http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=26170
  5. I just picked up an S-10 pickup with a 4.3 V6 w/ 80k on the odo. Its got lots down low nothing much past a certain point. Then again i have an automatic in it. I think the were rated around 160hp and 220lbs of torque. I'm not sure though as i was told this and haven't read anything about it though. I don't know the rpm data though. I think i saw a thread about the 4.3 v6 swap into the early Z at hybrid Z.
  6. You raise an interesting point. I'll have to do research too. Since the L28et will probably be cheaper for me anyway i'm sure that is the way i'll be going.
  7. that truck has about 372KW of power!! Yeah titanic sounds right for it.
  8. here is one thread. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5939&highlight=turbo+kits
  9. There has to be a pricey kit for this as it has been posted many times. If there was a kit for the early z maybe that could apply to the non-turbo ZX i am not sure. Try a search and maybe you'll find some info.
  10. Welcome to the club!! Check out these links... http://www.zhome.com/Buying/GDisBuying.html http://www.zhome.com/Buying/WhatToWatchFor.html http://zhome.com/Classic/CommonZRust/RustPrevention240Z.htm I think the price depends on the rust of the car. i pick up mine for a grand but there was some rust and it wasn't running till 2grand later. Tires, brakes, FI, suspension stuff. I think being patient in the long run will get you the best price.
  11. Whoa Whoa wait a minute.... This truck is not to be compared with SUVs. Yeah its a truck but underneath the skin there is a Viper. People arn't gonna buy this to use as a real "truck". This is a 500hp / 500ft/lbs 0-60mph 4.8sec 1/4mile in 13.2sec@107.1mph 61.7mph in the slalom( to compare Maxima 62.3.....350z at 66.4) .......type of truck. Not my cup of tea but sport truck guys really luv em.
  12. ....i have that screen saver saved to my harddrive. If you want it i could email it to you.
  13. i think one of the guys at hybrid z is attempting this or about to attempt the rotary swap into the S30.:classic:
  14. Mine fogg up...but if haven't notice it affect the performance of the headlamps. (Well my headlamps are always REALLY dim anyway so maybe that's why.) Plus it drys very quickly. Regardless i've never found it much hassle to remove them for cleaning and such.

Some early C5's are seeing the low 20k right now. Lighter(by a few 100lbs), and WAY more fun. I still get a plasticy interior but Whole lot more.
  16. Isn't there some little radar look alike thingy that plugs into your cigarette lighter and somewhat gives you a 0-60 time and more stuff. I've heard of this but i never cared to find out more. Anyone know what one of these units is. Of course if you live in a place where there is a local strip that would be the ideal place to get a time.
  17. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!
