  1. He has the larger head some Dalmations have. That threw me off. We had a Dalmation many years ago. Sweet dog but deaf from birth. They also shed terribly

80% RH or higher too. Very humid. Not to my liking either. The upside is we can drive our classics almost all year long, if the run.
  3. The fuel line from the tank can be oversized. It won't hurt a thing.
  4. Or you can use the thread tools and subscribe to the threads that have good info in them.
  5. Looks good. Are you gonna paint the air dam?

Chas I will trade too. It's 97 here today and a heat index of 111.
  7. Do you think that switched would have tripped in this particular accident since he didn't hit another car or a barrier?
  8. I have always wondered what caused that.
  9. Is that a Great Dane in your Avatar??
  10. Are these safe for yellow metals?
  11. Well it really depends on where in California. It's a big place and covers a lot of different climate zones. Some of the high desert areas are really dry day in and day out.
  12. In my shop, I run a Frigidaire dehumidifier 24 -7. It is set to 50% RH and has a drain hose leading outside so I never have to empty it. If it gets set any higher things start to rust and mold.
  13. Is this critic only driving newer cars? Newer cars are much smoother between the gears.
  14. That is fascinating. It is amazing that such small imperfections will stop the clock.
  15. Cut your loses and replace the line. It will never be right if it has an significant rust in it.
  16. Ok I was thinking it was the same engine. A good running EFI is nice and super reliable. That's what attracts me to ITB's
  17. That was a well earned plate!
  18. Redwing, Be very careful under the car. Make sure the ramps are solid and the car is not gonna move. Set the emergency brake and block the wheels on the ground if you are unsure its not gonna move. We don't want you getting hurt before we educate you
  19. If they put in a whole poly bushing kit, the car shouldn't be any looser. Could be a little noisier as the poly bushing are firmer and transmit more sound.
  20. Well I will go at it this way. My frame man would replace a front clip for just guessing $1200 or so. Then you have to find a good clip. That seems like it would be really hard to do. I would guess if you could find one it would cost a $1000 or more. So I figure it is a $2000 repair to make it perfect, but like I said get a local guy to look at it. He will be able to poke around and figure out how bad it really is.
  21. The other guy who has done this transplant, how did he work around this issue?
  22. If you have a way to have a good body shop look at it by all means do it. Front frame rail repair and replacement is expensive exact work. If you could find a good front clip, that would be a good fix.
  23. Site that's all that hard living on motorcycles you did Now back to your regular programming, sorry Steve
  24. I don't know how many states do this but in Texas if you have the plates from the matching year as your vehicle you can use those on the car. My father in law had a 37' Ford and I found plates (Texas requires front & back) on Ebay and bead blasted them and hand painted them for him. They really made the car.
