  1. The way I understand it is the woman was crossing the road in the dark and was NOT on a crosswalk. A human would have also likely killed her. Sure, Uber will be hit hard on this one, but, it still doesn't make sense why this woman was expecting a car to stop for her. I see this all the time.. people cross the road and expect cars to stop. Frankly, I will never assume a car will stop for me until I make eye contact with the driver. This is just common sense. Driverless cars are still likely to become a reality once these kinks are worked out. Even then, I'm never crossing the road expecting a driver(less) to see me...
  2. What kind of gas are you using?

I picked up the cover from BRE today. One of the best deals out there and it shows the BRE logo... I'll post a pic when it's on the car...
  7. Yep, same arm, just flipped over. I had the same questions when my car was restored.

Nice, thanks guys. After doing some searching, it does look like this is priced fair and a good quality item. @Mike B, I'm surprised they didn't just give you the cover for acting as a supermodel for a day. Edit: Oh, I didn't know MSA had one too. I'll have to check that option as well..
  9. Does anyone know where I can find a fitted car cover for my 240z? Used or new. I already have a el-cheapo from the local parts store. I'm looking for something nicer and more fitted to the 240z. I'm considering the BRE car cover, but, I don't really need the weatherproofing. Just something to cover from dust inside my garage. Thanks.
  10. No we aren't hacked... Yes, I am running a back end software that scans the site for keywords and provides links to external sites. It's not perfect, but, it can be helpful. In this case, it didn't work all that great.. lol. (unless one of you wants to buy products from them -- by all means please click on it) It brings in about $70/mo to help me pay for server costs. The service is called Skimlinks and works within just a few minutes. m
  11. Nice car! I loved the Scarab as a kid... this one looks very clean. Documentation will help sell it at that price. Can your dad get any docs for it? Check out our Scarab forum for more information about the conversion and any additional details you may need with the listing. Mike
  12. Looks great!! Welcome to the forum.. Mike

@pazt2prezent, you are welcome. I hope you reconsider your opinions about forums and bring in some additional challenges. The one thing I do know is that our guys are very interested in exploring the genuine facts about the Z car, no matter the country. There are a lot of knowledgeable people here. Albeit a bit rough around the edges, you will find a ton of data (and debatable topics) to help make your Z projects a success.

I think ZH meant that it's the 'same as it ever was'... Gents, we have to be a bit more friendly and choose our words carefully these days -- especially to new members. The Internet isn't the same as it ever was. Clubs like ours are fading out in comparison to the big social media sites. I'd like to know that our club is known for permanent content and a group of people that wants to help. The written word is a powerful thing, and the conversation that follows it can define who we are.

Hey guys, I just reviewed this thread because it was reported to me. There were a few violations of the rules, but, most of it was on topic. One thing I ask is that you please try to be civil with each other as if you were standing in the same room. I am not going to go through and give violations this evening because I think you can figure out how and when you can be good to each other. The main objective of our club is to help others and collect information for the car. Debates can sometimes get heated, so I trust that you guys can keep it civil. We can only survive this modern world of media websites if we do these things.. We need people and a welcoming environment for all.. Thanks guys. Mike
  17. Found it, thanks! It was in chit chat, so, I moved to the heating and a/c forum.. Thanks.
  18. HA! Now that is crazeee
  19. I'd be interested to see how the installation of the VintageAge product works out. Can you keep us posted here with your progress? Has anyone else done it on an S30? (I already searched and didn't find anything)
  20. Man you guys have it great. I don't have much room anymore. We moved to the city so no more big garages. One day I'll be back in the quiet country with a garage to "tinker" in...
  21. Nice find! Thanks for posting it here. Good luck on the sale... Mike

  22. Hey dutch, do you mind if I put these into our files area? It would be easier to find there (rather than being stuck deep in a forum post). Mike
