There is a york side mouted ac compressor on my 1973 parts car, i think that it is the same size belt that goes around the crank, alternator, and water pump

I think i will have it media blasted and apply the 1500 rated paint

Welcome to the site. This is definitley the place to go for any questions you have about z cars, thats why i joined, i figured this site would help me with my '73 resto project.

Does anyone have any tips on how to effectivley get all, or most of the road grime, grease and dirt from out between all the nooks and crannies in the fan clutch, i tried scraping, and a nylon bristle brush, and wd- 40, i just cant seem to get it out and make it clean. This was it before i even started cleaning it

Well, iam working on the shell of my car at an actual body shop so i could take it there and grind it an prep it for coating, or i could take it to my high school in my auto class and prep it there(tech school), that would probably lower the price. I just dont know of any good ceramic coating places in my area.

What could i do to refurbish this exhaust manifold, is it even worth refurbishing, i would imagine finding a new one of these would be extremely hard. Any thoughts? I know i could buy a motorsport header, but i like the way this car sounded when i acquired it.

Can be rebuildable, probably just need to be synchronized and cleaned, and have the choke adjusted, i am using the complete carb set up from the orange car though -

A little rusty these, but the bearings didnt grind or make excessive noise, but, i already bought a stock replacement one -
Everything up top looks good, worn timing chain though. -
On one of the mobil 1 comercials, you will see when it gets to the toyota sienna, a green 240 whizzes by

For some i have heard that pushing down on the hatch helps to lock and unlock it, i found that if you push the button down and let it come up with the key inserted while turning it to the left, this unlocks it, or do the same and turn it the right so the slot is vertical to lock it

Its the horizontal window defroster, not the vertical so anywhere from 72 to 73, and i see that your located in nc, im in md, i would have to get a quote on shipping

No way, i have a used one with the metal tabs still in place, no cracks or scratches that i would sell for $75

Thats weird my car that im restoring is white, but it had the rocker panels and the rest of the lower portion of the car matte black as well
