  1. This was at Warner Robins towing about 18 months ago.
  2. Talk to Chet Wittel, GA Z club? He probably has one in Marietta.
  3. This is where I get accosted by 60+ year old folks at a gas station or in traffic who say "I used to have one of those" or "My friends Dad drove one". Great to see a gathering of S30s like that.
  4. I'm not sure what it takes to get in but the Heritage museum would be fantastic. Tokyo tower, touristy things around Roppongi, Shibuya, Shinjuku. Nissans HQ is downtown too. Two days in Kyoto to see temples would be a recommendation, maybe a day in Nikko.
  5. My first ZCON and I had a great time. Great people and awesome cars plus our special guests for the tech talks, conversation etc. Thank you to GA Z club and Fairlady Z Alliance for doing a great job, I appreciate your hard work and had a great time.
  6. Probably, I had the red 240 with the bronze TE37 wheels
  7. I saw two orange 240s that were built that same month at ZCON. Gentleman from SC owned both of them and was selling them.
  8. Looking forward to it

I'm glad someone is taking a Singer-esque approach to 240Zs, whether anyone approves of their touches or not. The cars look fantastic, I'm hoping some of what they produce for their cars will end up in the aftermarket for the rest of us.
  10. The key I remembered in my research about getting a set of Mikunis or any triples is they need to be tuned by someone who knows what they are doing. Have the valves adjusted, make sure the timing is good and, if at all possible, tune them on a dyno. I found someone who did all of that and my Mikunis run like champs. A well tuned set of SUs will perform great on the street and will do 90% of what a set of triples will do performance wise, it's that last 10% when you're really laying in to the throttle that triples perform. On the other hand, you could probably sell the triples and buy a set of ZTherapy SUs which would be easier to tune and give great daily driving/autocross performance. Make sure you get a good heat shield for either setup, my SUs vapor locked more easily than the triples do but it was always something I was paying attention to, especially in the summer.

That's what I figured, thank you.

Picked this up from a friend as a replacement for one i lost in an accident. Am trying to figure out where the 2/2 came from, I thought North American 2+2s had the same grill as the coupes. Am curious if someone just added it to this grill. Any help would be appreciated.

Dupont, PPG, whomever, your local auto body paint supplier should be able to dig up the formula if you give them the year and paint code.

I got mine from Wolf Creek racing, very helpful, paid around $2.3K a couple of years ago for a set of 44s.

Where did you order your Wats from? What size and how much if you don't mind me asking?
  16. Email Dave Patten at Futofab, he has taken the reins left by Todd at Wolf Creek Racing and should be able to get you jets. Dave@FutoFab.com The wolfcreekracing.com website leads you to Dave's contact information.
  17. I'm going to the Cars and Coffee and the councours for the first time this year, won't be able to make the panel but hope I can catch those guys at the other two events.
  18. Whatever you go with find someone who knows how to tune them. Best money I spent wasn't on the carbs it was on having someone who knows what they're doing tune them on a dyno.

Bound to be someone around Dallas, they have two Z clubs in the metroplex last time I checked, Texas Z club and Cowtown Z club.
  20. Unnerving to see what the top of Bob Sharp's Z looked like after that accident, presumably with a rollcage, did the car get rebuilt?
  21. FWIW see if you can't get it on Bring a Trailer to increase visibility.
  22. I wonder if your voltage regulator is bad?
  23. Of the different fascias I've seen between Zs and Celicas this is the one I prefer, thanks for the image Alan.
  24. I would love to build a tribute car modeled after this one. Will have to research the details but I really like how simple everything is, will have to work on my fiberglass skills to build that grille fascia.
  25. Jeff is in Australia, did a youtube series on a 911 he is wrapping up, really insightful videos. Better news is he just picked up a 240Z and is contemplating a rotisserie rebuild, should be some well thought through quality DIY videos as he gets going. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvHckyZrWWE
