  7. I think you will find a manual console is the same, except it has a "boot" instead of the auto shifter Nigel

    FYI for those that don't know, easy way to tell late to early console is where the demister switch is placed, front of gear shift for early, behind, for late..

    It does feel like that, in this forum anyway, I assume it's because of the small numbers who have these cars (240K) and wanting to help each other. BTW it good that you have sorted things out with your job and your family covered.. Nigel

  20. I haven't really done anymore with this, but one thing I have noticed is that the resin I had used is starting to degrade, maybe I should have sealed it with a clear coat of paint. even if had had some more, I would not feel confident enough to sell them sorry. Nigel

Hi, I'm about to sell my left kidney to buy a set of 16*8 & 16*8.5 Watanabe's (with my 15% discount) What I'm unable to determine is the colour, I want the black ( gun metal ) looking rims with polished lip, but I don't know what Wantanabe calls this colour, I have found this link http://www.watanabe.com.au/page4.html they have Black Matt black Gloss black the Magnesium colour looks like it almost the same as the black but a little lighter, can anyone give me a insight into what I need. thanks, Nigel
  24. Yeah, I know that the tacho are wired differently between the early and late models, also I remember something to do with how the coil is powered. other than that' I don't know.. Nigel
