  2. Hi, I'm selling one of my 240K ( 5/'77 ) It's 90% complete, excluding the engine and gearbox ( which i will remove later ) I'm after $6,500 it's in Burnie, Tasmania, email me at noddle at email dot com make sure in the subject you mention "enquiries, Datsun 240K" and don't bother emailing me, if you not serious, or think I will see it for a few thousands only. Nigel
  3. The slot for the rotot looks to small ( this maybe for a solid rotor ) Nigel
  4. They are actually from a '91 Toyota Surf, ( found my ebay bid )
  5. Sorry for the later reply, Calipers are Toyota S13WB ( 4 runner from memory, each caliper had, 4 x 45mm pistons ) Rotors, were special order DBA425USL & DBA425USR ( they did not have the stud holes drilled / blank ) Nigel
  6. Find yourself a MR30 skyline, it has a L24e engine in it, swap the head if need be (NM47, or the whole engine), and all the fuel injection bits, I original did this on my 240K, but now I moved onto megasquirt II Nigel
  7. No, I was not happy with the resin I used to make the lens with, it deteriorated in the weather. Nigel
  8. The early one has Mile Per Hour, and Kilometer Per Hour on the same face, The tachometer are different with how they capture the RPM ( different electronics ) Nigel
  9. I see you do not have the earlier speedo..
  10. My daughter found this one, 1975 Datsun 240K Sedan | Cars, Vans & Utes | Gumtree Australia Tasmania - Hobart Region make sure you are sitting down, first... :-) Nigel
  11. I have one with this colour, with a vinyl roof ( sedan ) Nigel
  12. HI, Will this cause clearance issues with wide rims / tires ? Nigel
  13. If I was to do it again, I would put the "pickup" inside the fan belt loop the way I did it, I would have to remove the pickup to replace the fan belt, I have not had to do it yet, but i would make it easier .. Nigel
  14. Mine was done like this, EDIS Nigel
  15. I have one.... it's put away, came with my coupe.
  16. Hi, you can try ebay http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_trksid=p3902.m570.l1313&_nkw=datsun+240k&_sacat=0&_from=R40 or your local Nissan dealer, they may be able to get you some new part.
  17. Hi, You will need the 240K late-model struts (1975+ ?) 1994 Toyota 4 Runner Calipers - S13WB type - suits 25m disc - 4 x 45mm pistons ( pads are dba 1149 ) Mitsubishi Verada / Magana disc (dba part no. 425), center hole needs to be enlarged from 69mm to 73mm, mine were blank slotted rotors - specially ordered Use a 2mm washer between caliper and mounting ears on struts, to move the caliper inbound a small amount ( to clear my mags ) there is a spacer between the rotor and hub, I think it was a 3.4mm I'm running a 7/8 master cylinder, with a larger booster than what was on the coupe, it's off a '73 4 door 240K, but is smaller than what on a 4 door '77 240K, The peddles feels good.. I think that was all.. Nigel

  19. Did you look at the wiring diagram ? http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/thread45728.html Nigel
  20. My understanding is, the loop coil one should work, and long as the coil has it power going through the 'loop'. I could have done this on my EDIS setup, but I create my wiring harness to suit the other type of tacho Nigel
  21. Hi, I still have my gear, I'm not sure how the resin would go with the heat from the light, You could do this, with out any gear, and since its a small part. it should not be to hard http://www.alumilite.com/howtos/TailLightMoldingEquipment.cfm Nigel
  22. Noddle replied to uras1's topic in 240K Skyline
Is it a heater hose clip , it hold 2 hoses from rubbing ?
  23. The coupes have one on the passenger inner guard
  24. From memory it was around $1200 I think. I actually saw the car parked at Heybridge ( I have a few photos ), then a week or so later it was gone from where it was sitting ( I assumed it was moved into one of the large sheds in the area ), I assume the guy started work on it, realized how big a job it was, now wants to off load it, at a profit ( and stripped ) If he left it as it was when he got it, offered it for a similar amount, Then I would have brought it to add to my collection, I'm after a straight 2 door shell, mine have been repaired a long time ago, it looked it it had been hit in the front and rear, like what you see when you spin out and hit both ends.. who ever did the repair work did a good job, but it's not as good a body that was not damage.. Nigel
